Kenyan Caught Shop-Lifting Red Meat at Stockholm’s Supermarket

Red meat targetted by Kenyan shop-lifter

Some forgotten Kenya-Stockholm scandals are too funny to forget. A 27 year old Kenyan male was, on Saturday, 10th November caught shop-lifting at an underground supermarket at the Central station in Stockholm. The Kenyan was caught red handed with a 5kg red meat as he tried to smuggle it out of the supermarket.

According to an agent who recorded the story, the Kenyan had removed the meat from the cold storage and repackaged it to make it look like fried chicken whose price tag was lower than the meat. The Kenyan had intended to purchase a chicken but surreptitiously removed the chicken from the package after the price was pasted on it and replaced it with the 5kg red nyama. His strategy was that once he reached the cashier, he would simply beam the price tag on the face of the cashier to electronically record the chicken price which he would then pay for and swagger out of the supermarket with red nyama, ready to be chomad. A big smile at the female cashier was scheduled to melt any suspicions.

Unfortunately, the plan went seriously wrong. The electronic price reader jammed unexpectedly when he beamed his loot for price recording and what this meant was that the cashier needed to physically handle the purchase in order to punch the bar code number on the price tag so that the Kenyan could pay.

Since the entry on the price tag was “chicken”, the cashier got suspicious at the sheer weight of the “chicken” and decided to double check. The weight was just too much for a chicken and therefore the cashier decided to open the package to be sure. The Kenyan then discovered that he had been cornered so he decided to dash out of the supermarket but he was caught by security personnel as he climbed up the elevator staircase.

It is a long distance, moving from the supermarket to the exit point and this disadvantage is what enabled security to catch up with the Kenyan. When he understood that kumedhuka and tried to make an escape, the cashier apparently pressed the red security button which alerted all security personal manning exit points to block everybody from leaving the mall.

The standard procedure is that under such circumstances, the colour of the suspect’s clothing is usually broadcast on the security radio system and it did not take five minutes before the Kenyan was nabbed as he tried to escape. Although he denied any wrong doing, police was called and the Kenyan was arrested. A source close to the Kenyan told KSB that the suspect has since been released from custody and that he will be charged with attempted shop-lifting.

In the meantime, a Kenyan teenie was caught on camera, trying to shake an automatic goodies machine in a tunnel train station to try and shake off a pack of chocolates for consumption. The Kenyan teenie, who was clad in a hooded jacket, was recorded on security video, shaking the machine violently as he tried to coax his target goodies out of the machine in “operation free goodies”.

It is not clear whether the Kenyan lad walked away with his loot but according to reports reaching KSB, the lad reached home safely before hell broke loose three days later. The Swedish authorities had managed to track down the Kenyan lad through a series of cameras at different underground stations which eventually helped in his identification. Since he was an under-age boy, he was recommended for rehab although the problem now is that he may have to be taken away from the mom who is a single mother. The storo shocked many Kenyans because the goodies the lad was seeking are very cheap and affordable. It could not immediately be established why the lad has been going without chocolates or how long his lust for chocolates has been pushing him into adopting extreme options to feed his lust .
