Bary Owino To Feature On Swedish TV 4
Barack Owino (popularly known as Barry), a Kenyan national, will appear on Swedish National TV 4 tomorrow Thursday at 7.45 AM to talk about his name “Barack” because he shares the name with senator Barack Obama who is believed to be the possible winner of US Presidential election scheduled for 4th November 2008.
When Swedish Journalists sifted through records to try and trace people in Sweden who share with Obama the name “Barack”, they landed on Bary who happens to be the only “Barack” in Sweden in a population of 9 million people. The similarity in names with Obama will be the basis of the morning TV talk.
More delighting breaking news for the Journalists was the discovery that Bary comes from Kenya, the land of Barack Obama’s father who is buried at Kogelo village in Siaya district in Kenya. Obama’s father, an academic, died in a road accident in 1982. KSB takes this opportunity to congratulate Barry for his scheduled appearance on Swedish National TV, a rare chance which rarely comes by here in Sweden.
