It is with immeasurable sorrow and profound grief that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Jackie Omino. Jackie, who was a professional nurse, sadly passed away on the 14th of May while undergoing a surgical procedure at Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her cherished sons, Jay and Coby, whose lives revolved around the unconditional love, warmth, and care she so naturally gave.
Jackie was also a deeply treasured sister to Caro and Midi, a loving aunty to Shawn — with whom she shared a uniquely close and special bond here in Sweden — and a dear friend to many whose lives she touched with kindness, humility, and grace.
Her sudden departure has left an indescribable emptiness within the family and among all who knew and loved her.
Since the heartbreaking news emerged, an overwhelming outpouring of condolences, prayers, messages, and acts of kindness has continued to flow in from relatives, friends, and sympathizers across the world. The family remains sincerely grateful for every comforting word, prayer, and gesture extended during this painful season.
Jackie possessed a rare gentleness and sincerity that made everyone around her feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her laughter could brighten the heaviest moments, and her compassion spoke far louder than words ever could. She carried herself with quiet strength, dignity, and a beautiful humility that will never be forgotten.
Yet death, in its cruel finality, arrives without warning and changes everything in a single moment.
Even in our grief, we thank God for the precious gift of Jackie’s life and for the countless memories she leaves behind. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the joy she brought into the world will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
