Late Kenya-Stockholmer, Edward Nganga, Laid to Rest in Eternal Peace in Kenya
The late Kenya-Stockholmer, Edward Nganga aka “Dirty”, who passed away in Kenya on 15th March 2015 was eventually laid to rest last Tuesday, 24th March 2015. The Kenyan died abruptly after being taken ill while on holiday in Kenya.
A Prayer Meeting cum funds drive which was held in Stockholm by relatives, friends and sympathizers raised a total of 23,000 kr which went towards the funeral arrangements.
Speaking to KSB, Mr. John Muchiri, the Chairman of the “Edward Nganga Family Support Committee in Stockholm”, thanked everybody who attended the Prayer meeting. “The family is very grateful for the input from friends in Stockholm”, he said.
Mr. Muchiri said that the money was sent to the family on Monday, 23 March 2014 ahead of burial. Edward’s death surprised many Kenyans because he had no history of illness.
