Plans for the Raila Odinga book launch in Stockholm are ready. The launch will be held at Tensta Kultur Kaffe on Saturday 31st January and will run between 15.00-17.00 hrs.

After the introduction of the guests by the Chairman of the Launch committee Mr. Martin Ngatia, there will be a presentation of the book by the author, Mr. Okoth Osewe, after which Mr. Osewe will field questions from the audience. This will be followed by signing of autographs which will bring the event to a conclusion. The pre-launch copy of the book has been in circulation in Sweden for the last one month.
A huge Party organized by the “Network for African Unity” will then follow at Sollentuna throughout the night with various DJs spinning to keep revelers busy. Vibes will feature African music, Salasa, Hip-Hop, Reggae dance and other African music while the Party clientele is expected to be mixed.
The Party has been organized around the theme of “Yes We Can” to commemorate the inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America. The writing of the book about “Raila’s Odinga’s Stolen Presidency” is part of what is possible within the African community in Sweden and supporters from all walks of life are encouraged to attend the Party which will take place at Malmsvägen 12C from 21.00 to 6.00 hrs.
Further information about the book launch is available from Mr. Martin Ngatia, the Chairman of the launch Committee, while info about the Party is available through phone numbers listed on the accompanying poster. Discussions about the book will continue at the Party. All are welcome to the two events.
