Mr. Ochieng Nyambok has Lost his Daughter

Mr. James Ochieng Nyambok and Mrs Millicent Nyambok, Kenyans resident in Stockholm, have lost their daughter, Linet Dotty Nyambok, in Kenya due to illness. Consequently, the Family has set up an “Open House” at their residence located at Odensalavägen 44, c/o Bränwall in Märsta.

The couple has called a fund raising function on Saturday August 29th 2009 at the same venue. The “Open House” runs daily from 18.00 hrs until the day of the main fund raising.

This is the second bereavement the Nyamboks are experiencing since the beginning of the year when Millicent lost her mother and had to rush home for the funeral. Kenyans, friends and well-wishers gathered at the residence to condole with the bereaved family.

A Funeral Committee has been set up by friends of the Nyamboks to help coordinate the funds drive. The couple will travel to Kenya together with their younger daughter to attend the funeral.

KSB sends deep condolences to the family of the bereaved. The loss of a child is not only shocking but extremely painful and KSB grieves with the bereaved family. We hope that the family will have the strength to go through this difficult and trying period of deep sorrow and sadness. Further information can be obtained through: 076242619 and 0737423283.

How Benta’s New Jungu Hubby Was Snatched in Kenya

Alicia in her new jungu house in Stockholm

Alicia in her new jungu house in Stockholm

In this latest case, Benta came to Sweden in the spirit of looking for greener pastures. She easily obtained a visa through her nice sister whose credentials were so impeachable that when she put her name for her and stated that Benta would stay with her, there were no complications because the sister’s name was in the “white books” of the Swedish establishment.

The life span of a visa is three months and if you can manage some magic at the Immigration department, it could always be extended to six months after which the holder has to return home.

When she arrived, Benta was given the necessary “intro” to Stockholm city. You don’t begin to talk about papers during the first week of arrival because this is the time to get the “newly arrived” some space to absorb the “technological shock” so that they can begin to take it izzi.

There are both the basics and the details. Benta began to learn that in Sweden, every house is fitted with a fridge, an electric cooker and internet connection. The information about the net came when she requested to go to some nearby Coffee shop so that she could send mail to friends that she had arrived safely. When she learnt that the internet is in the house and that she could surf as much as she wanted, it was a big excitement. You can call it freedom of information and the sky was the limit.

After two weeks and when she appeared settled and relaxed, her nice sister began to take her through the “Paper paces”. She needed to understand that officially, she was in Sweden on a temporary (tourist) visa and that according to the authorities, she needed to get back home when her visa expired. This explanation was easy and she understood stuff very quickly. Once this was fixed, the next stage was to organize how she could wire a “Paper maker” and Kenya Stockholmers know how it’s done. It’s not that simple and it is not our business to get into details because there is no time.

Benta is good looking and punde si punde, she landed an elderly jungu who had never surfed the holy valleys of an African beauty. The Jungu was so excited that in a matter of months, Benta had moved in and was doing the dishes, vacuum cleaning, doing the laundry and even introducing the jungu to some Kenyan food to spice up things. First, she worked out the Ugali magic then the Chapo whizz, the mandazi beat before moving to the Sambusa triangle and other well known Kenyan delicacies. The jungu was liking every bit of it I seh! A feminine touch of African origin was inna de house!

Besides, the Jungu had been divorced long time and during the ukamwe days when manyake was scarce, he was doing it alone in the bathtub. To prove it, he showed Benta the worn-out skin on his hand and stuff. Now, Benta was there with all her charms. In the meantime, Benta’s Kenyan contacts were pumping her with info about how she needed to carry out the program and convince the jungu that she is the girl he has been waiting for and it worked quite well.

For example, she was told to forget about the jungu’s advanced age and always hold hands/kiss in public, be happy and do everything to maintain the smile on the jungu’s face. When the jungu is with friends, make them feel really jealous – touch the jungu as occasion requires. Smoothen his hair, roll your index finger down his chin, look at him in the eyes with a smile then whisper “I love you darling” in his ear then kiss him immediately. This sends the message to the audience that you are sharing a sweet secret! Don’t overdo it though.

Another thing Benta was told: Don’t avoid the reality that that “the project” is far much older than you. Accept this reality but let him know that you like him as a person and that his age is secondary to your love. You can add that you like elderly jungus because they are much more experienced. You are not interested in some teeny dude who will waste your time, you could say.

If need be, sing to him the song “I am in love with a man who is twice my age… am in love with a man who is twice my age” to cover up things during difficult times. If he likes the move, propose that he buy or download the “hot number” because it makes you think about him “all the time”. Request that you upload it in your MP3 player and make it the number one song. Sometimes, you can go overboard by saying that you like his grey hair, bald head and other “chronological features” like wrinkles and crooked teeth (if this is what he has). After much pumping and practice, it was time for Benta to harvest the rewards.

Enter Alicia with secret contacts
Benta’s charms had melted the jungu’s heart and they soon ended at the Immigration department with an application. Then it was time for Benta to travel back to Kenya to put the final touches on mapepe before she travels back to live happily ever after. She took a KLM flight to Kenya and agreed with the jungu that as soon as she gets an appointment with the Swedish Embassy for an interview, the jungu would fly to Kenya to be by her side during the interview. This would underline to the Swedish authorities how serious things were. Things did go as planned.

Benta got her interview letter and after alerting her jungu husband, he flew to Kenya just on time. A jungu could not have missed this kind of big day. Interestingly, the jungu went down to the village to fetch Benta and he was loaded with Kronazz. Four days after his arrival and introduction to Benta’s paroz, things began to change.

Alicia, Benta’s cousin, had been lurking around when the jungu was in the vicinity and somehow, he caught the jungu’s eyes. She was much more cuter than Benta with a nice and better shape, sexy eyes and delicate bums that she swung provocatively as she served the jungu tea. Her boobs were strategically exposed in a carefully selected bra and as she bent over the coffee table to serve the jungu, the visitor was made to get a good view of the “tempting to touch” goodies. Alicia had been invited to help with work when the jungu was around because it was a big day for Benta. It did not appear like there was something fishy but an interesting twist is that the jungu did manage to take her contact without drawing much attention.

In this day of mobile phones, it was just a question of exchanging a piece of paper. One thing is that jungus are never afraid of asking for someone’s contact as long as they are interested in something. When the exchange happened, Benta was in the other room improving on make-up.

A young boy who had been “enjoying the jungu sight” at the corner did inform Benta about the exchange but she never bothered because it was beyond imagination that anything could be afoot. This was a jungu she had wired all the way from chambele and to imagine that a relative who was actually playing the maid could make any move was basically high treason. Kumbe! Things appeared to have been rolling so smoothly and there was no room for suspicion as all eyes were set on Benta and her new jungu hubby.

Punde si punde, the situation began to look really bad as the day of the interview drew closer. The jungu was not responding to phone calls as he used to while Alicia kept on appearing and disappearing without anybody getting to understand her movements. Sources close to her reported that she was unusually wrapping her goods in short skirts while she had taken to make-up, something she never used to do. Two days before the interview, the jungu did manage to answer the phone and Benta was relieved. She thought that something nasty had happened to him. That was before she got the shock of her life.

Slowly and carefully, the jungu began to break the news – that he had fallen in love with Alicia and that he had decided to terminate their relationship. As Benta entered into shock, the jungu retreated into Alicia’s arms at the local Hotel. When the dust settled, the jungu led Alicia to the Swedish Embassy in Nairobi and declared that Alicia was now his legally married wife whom he needed in Sweden at the soonest time possible. Benta had been dumped.

Alicia’s papers were then processed, the jungu bought her air ticket and she is currently in Stocky. A bitter enmity now exists between Alicia and Benta’s friends while Benta’s sister is said to hate Alicia like leprosy. Alicia has put up a tough face despite the unfavorable circumstances. She is contented that at least, she has her papers and her new life in Sweden. She will one day sort it out with Benta when the time comes but for now, she is the Lady of the house with full powers. In the meantime, Benta is in Kenya, stuck and paperless. Relatives are cursing Alicia but it’s too late. Alicia has added a new dimension in Kenya-Stockholm where “anything is possible”.

“Forgotten Stories” at KSB and “Scandal-Seekers”

Babygal being hanyad by Veterani

Newly arrived Babygal being hanyad by Veterani "indefinitely". "I need papers", she says.

A handful of Kenya-Stockholmers who are also capricious consumers of exotic KSB’s recipes have been attempting a shot at the blog’s management due to what they perceive as sudden and mysterious disappearance of scandals from KSB. In a series of phone contacts, smses and uncoordinated emails, these “scandal-seekers” have claimed that they are literally starving because of the apparent evaporation of scandals at KSB despite the existence of numerous “hot storos” that have hit the Kenya Stockholm community arena and which, according to them, ought to be making big headline news as the summer slowly dies away.

Since the Masumbuko scandal, there has been nothing at KSB apart from a stream of video uploads about political and social events. Even after an explanation that KSB agents have been on holiday, ardent scandal-seekers have refused to accept this simple explanation and even went ahead to germinate their own versions of the main problem. It is very amazing that some sadistic Kenyans celebrate when others (especially perceived enemies) are experiencing difficulties or are plunged in deep social, matrimonial or personal economic crisis.

According to one of the pathological scandal seekers who called KSB, the blog site may have frozen scandals because personalities involved in the scandals have very powerful links with top KSB management. The dude accused KSB of selective reporting of scandals depending on whether or not the victim is “sitting in the Cabinet” of KSB’s assembly of friends, a charge that is not true.

The official position of KSB has been that agents have been on holiday and nothing else but according to this contact, there are certain “untouchables” within the Kenya Stockholm community. This view has, however, not been supported by any concrete evidence.

To strengthen their case, a scandal seeker said that the case of a Kenyan who was recently arrested with narcotic drugs at Arlanda International Airport has not been highlighted at KSB although this Kenyan is currently in custody awaiting trial. The guy had allegedly swallowed some stuff from India but when he arrived at Arlanda, he was nabbed. The story has apparently not been published because the guy’s brother is a close buddie of KSB’s President, an allegation which is not true.

When Mr. Njenga had his pre-wedding, a video was shot at the event, uploaded at KSB then pulled down after some discussion with the Njenga’s. Now, some scandal-seekers have claimed that the video was pulled down because the Njengas have entered into the “good books” of KSB for some unknown reasons.

To be honest, Njenga has always been my friend since the asylum days and I do not remember any occasion when himself or myself transferred one another’s names into our “black books”. Reasons why the video was pulled down were clearly outlined at KSB and to claim that there was some kind of favour is anathema. I have pulled down stories before after being approached and credible reasons outlined. The pulling down of Njenga’s video was an ordinary event and to use it to try and strengthen a week point is an indication that KSB critics have become bankrupted.

Threatening Your Hubby with KSB
In the line-up of examples, “the strongest case” that has so far been put forward is that of a Kenyan male who recently split up with his wife under traumatic circumstances but which never found its way to KSB. The woman was allegedly taken away by the Swedish authorities together with her children, a piece of news that some readers believe, ought to have been given wide coverage at KSB.

The accusation is that the victim is a long standing political ally of a top KSB apparatchik and that the failure of this story to see day light at KSB is evidence of favouritism. At the time this event is said to have taken place, agents were on holiday.

The problem is the failure of critics to accept the reality that KSB does not follow people’s personal lives but depend on information brought in by agents. Some Kenyans appear to believe that KSB agents “know everything” happening around the Kenya-Stockholm community and expect to read about anything they come across. This is stupidity.

Even if a husband disagrees with the wife in the bedroom because the woman is hording the goods until her demands are met, KSB is apparently supposed to know about it because either the woman will unknowingly talk to a KSB agent or the guy’s tongue will slip during a swallowing moment at Vasa after which an agent will pick the news and rush it for publication.  This is amusing to say the least.

A woman recently called and said that she threatened her stingy hubby to pay for her hair-do or else face exposure at KSB to the effect that he is so poor that he can’t even afford a hair do for his woman. The guy reportedly took an sms loan and fixed the problem. This is the situation we are dealing with and the right word is “ridiculous”. May be, we need to start a “ridiculous session” along the lines of “comedy made in Kenyan-Stockholm”.

What comes out at KSB is normally less than 5% of underground happenings within the community and therefore, the blog site should not be taken to task for failure to report certain so called scandals with charges of mapendekezo flying in the air. A scandal could happen but we fail to get the info and consequently fail to publish it. In any case, KSB is not the “Kenya-Stockholm government” with facilities to follow every activity of every Kenya Stockholmer. Our agenda is to provide news and information as we receive them for entertainment, not for embarassment.

Since May this year, five Kenyans have split up with their women but it is not our responsibility to highlight these splits because the act of splitting is itself not a scandal but a normal and well accepted activity in the world of marriage. If a split is linked to a scandal, then the scandal segment could be part of an illegal or unacceptable activity or behaviour. Obviously, a split with a spouse is a painful experience but when looked at from a wider perspective, it is part of life and Kenya-Stockholmers who have fallen victim are just a tiny fraction of the global divorce club.

To assume that every split-up has to be reported at KSB with a “scandalous angle” is to assume that split ups are abnormal activities which should not happen. Kenya Stockholm scandal seekers need to grow up and leave KSB alone because at a personal level, I blog as a hobby.

“Kenyan Spreading Hepatitis B”
There are some valid points which have been brought up by readers and which could also be mentioned here. According to agents, there is a Kenyan infected with Hepatitis B virus which he is reportedly spreading around through unprotected sexual intercourse. As compared to a marital breakdown, this kind of exposure could be classified as a “scandal” because Hepatitis B has no treatment and transmitting it to others knowingly is actually an illegal activity.

The Kenyan is said to be a sweet talker and lures young paperless women into bed and after hanyaring, he moves on. The problem has reportedly put the Kenyan’s marriage in “grave danger” because the wife has reportedly been unwilling when it comes to opening up her precious goods for unlimited and sumptuous consumption for fear of contracting the disease while the guy also argues that he has to hanya outside because he has no other option when his manyege begins to climb.

Those who brought this scandal to KSB are disappointed and one irate Kenyan even sent an SMS from his/her mobile (sms and mobile number on file) naming the Kenyan and demanding that the scandal be exposed. We don’t do this kind of thing – naming Wakenya and pasting their tribulations at KSB in the name of “exposing scandal”.

We know of the Kenyan whose wife has refused to return to Kenya after she was pumped by propagandists that once she arrives in Kenya, the hubby will begin to hanya other girls who are always “on the ready” literally “with their pants down”. Apparently, there is no shortage of paperless girls trying their luck by opening their shrines to any “papered bull” who appear to be sniffing their presence and the girls don’t care whether or not the bull is another woman’s attachment. The temptation in the face of hopelessness is that the married guy’s instruments may be worked up to get him to divorce his official rib before being trapped into a paper-making project.

The Veteran Hanyaring Newly Arrived Chick
Then, in another juicy case that is still a “developing story”, a Kenyan brought his sweet sister to Stocky recently and now, a scandal seeker has reported that the baby girl is being hanyad by a “Stockholm veteran” who has reportedly taken over her sweet goodies “from top to bottom”. The strategy of the veterani, according to reports, is to use the “attraction of papers” to consume the goods “indefinitely” as he ponders the future. This case is said not to have been reported because the veterani “is very close” to the President of KSB.

Let us examine this case briefly because i find it interesting. What is so scandalous when a Kenyan is hanyaring the sister of another Kenyan who “just arrived”? According to the case, the veterani seduced the chick with his special charms before she voluntarily fell into his arms. The chick’s brother is not just aware but also approved the relationship arguing that his sister is a grown-up who is capable of making up her own mind. In fact, rumours has it that the brother is happy because at least, the chick will not be lured into prostitution by a gang of “Kenya-Stockholm twilight girls” some of whom have so far failed to go into pension (retiremento) because of the lure of easy quid.

In any case, the veterani is not raping the baby girl so why should KSB intervene “in the name of scandal” in a situation where two adults have mutually accepted kuhanyana democratically and in their own private environment? Does it mean that if a Kenyan brings a sister here, the sister cannot be hanyad simply because she is new or what are we talking about? There has been no reports that the baby girl is married neither has any bull claimed her as girlfriend. If the veterani played his cards well and got to her shrine first as others swallowed at Vasa thinking about strategy, why should other defeated bystanders read a “scandal” in the relationship, send material to KSB for publication and make up storos about mapendekezo if their tales are not published?

Besides, the brother of the chick has continued to be very good friends with the veterani despite the relationship so what is the big deal? To accuse KSB of not having reported this “scandal” ni uchokozi. There is nothing illegal the veterani is doing in the process of relieving his balls while there is nothing wrong the chick is doing by getting her parts serviced as she checks things out in complicated kenya-Stockholm. Once again, some Kenyans need to grow up! I will come back to this thread but in the meantime, back to KS-Beers!

Hussein Symbatya “On His Death Bed”

Hussein Symbatya, a Ugandan national who has been very close to members of the Kenya-Stockholm community, is said to be on his death bed at Dalens Hospital. Mr. Hussein, who is a very social and jovial person, is suffering from cancer of the urinal bladder. According to doctors, the cancer has now spread to different parts of his body and this situation has relegated any possibility of recovery.

A KSB contact who visited Hussein in hospital said that he is heavily sedated while he receives medication on the hour. “His memory is failing and he is unable to remember events or people”, said the contact who added that he is still able to speak although with difficulty.

About a week ago, Mr. Hussein was said to have been given one year to live but according to latest reports, “he may pass at any time”. A contact told KSB that Mr. Hussein has stated that he would like to be buried in his home village in Uganda in case anything happens to him.

Mr. Hussein, who speaks several Kenyan languages including Luo, Kikuyu and Swahili, has been a common face at Kenyan parties. I last met him at a family function in June which had been organized by Artist Albert Taabu.

Friends and well wishers continue to visit him in hospital to wish him well. For those who want to visit, he is at Dalens Hospital (Train to Farstastrand). Drop off at Blåsut tube station and once out, the hospital is about 100 meters from the station. Visiting time is between 7.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs. You don’t have to book time. He is on the 6th floor room number 3.
