Died in Kenya this morning at Nairobi West Hospital

This morning, Sunday the 15th of March 2015, and against all expectations, members of the Kenya-Stockholm community have suddenly been plunged into deep mourning following the sudden passing of a member of the community.

Edward Nganga Kariuki aka “Dirty” (Wagiko) passed away this morning at Nairobi West Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. Edward travelled to Kenya for holiday and according to information reaching KSB, be became unwell and was rushed to hospital where he died this morning.

Following the tragic news, relatives, friends, well-wishers and sympathizers are meeting today evening at the residence of John Muchiri aka Duka located at Korn Vägen 2, Hallunda, Stockholm to discuss the tragedy, condole with the bereaved family and to remember ndugu Edward who has left us without notice.

For those who knew Edward, and for those who closely interacted with this departed soul, he was a humble, jovial and social person. He was known for his calm composure, his respect for others with different ideas while he was a friend worth having. As a young man, it was unthinkable that he would leave so soon but here we are, Edward Nganga is gone to be with his creator.

Once again, the cruel hands of death has robbed Kenyans in Stockholm of a valuable member of the community. KSB sends deep condolence to the bereaved family following the shocking and unexpected news. May the family have the strength and courage to go through this very difficult moment.
