In the presidential elections Uhuru was last week declared the winner by the IEBC. If so, he must have garnered the required 50%+ of the total votes. To prove its case, the IEBC last week made official the tallying of votes by publishing the result on the web. Uhuru was said to have achieved almost 6,2 million votes against Raila’s 5,34 million votes, this from a total of 12,2 millions votes cast. So, did Uhuru really win fair and square? Was this the truth?
On the 12th the Daily Nation published the (very) final results from the IEBC. I.E. the true outcome of the presidential elections. The votes cast were, in fact, not 12,2 million, as earlier reported, but almost 14,4 million. Obviously, 2,2 million votes were not taken into account when the IEBC last week presented its “final result”, A result on which it found fit to declare Uhuru victorious.
If you take a little time to perform some simple mathematics on the figures that were first presented, comparing them with those from the 12th (final result), you will very soon discover some disturbing anomalies. You can clearly see what something improper must have happened.
You will see that Raila has garnered more votes than Uhuru, if only by a frail margin. None of them achieved the 50% required. More importantly, each and every vote for Uhuru was accounted for and published already last week, while 820 thousand votes for Raila “had gone missing” on the IEBC’s first “final report” when Uhuru was declared the winner. And this was not the only oddity!
Further more; Votes reported for the other six candidates contesting were at first reported as just over 700 thousand. The final result shows almost 2,1 million for these six!! Two thirds of the votes cast on these other six candidates were obviously “held back”. The only conclusion I can make, is that the IEBC intentionally (i.e. by a purpose) held back millions of votes for Raila AND all of the other six candidates.
So, you may ask; What did happen? How did it happen? And most importantly; Why did it happen? I do not suggest that I have an answer. Nor is it up to me to find one. I am just curious… What could have happened, there in the “Independant”EBC? Sloppy work? Under undue pressure? Insufficient routines or over-load? OR, as has been widely suggested; “Doctoring”…
“Hey you guys! Find all the votes for Uhuru, Count them! Then you count the votes for Raila. After all, the battle is between the two of them, you agree!?”
During the counting it must have become uncomfortable, The votes for Uhuru would not be enough to make it a victory in the first round, if every vote was to be reported. “Guys stop the counting! We have to report some results for those other guys to! But keep the total for Raila AND the other guys below those for UHURU, then we’re safe!”
The IEBC must have had all of the votes on their table when it decided to declare Uhuru the winner: For one reason or another they decided not to report correctly. After all, in just 6/7 of the total votes, how could they have found every vote for Uhuru and still miss 2,2 million votes for the others. Statistics and the slump factor proves it impossible. It can simply not happen by chance. Fingers must have been involved. Second time around, the Kenyan people has been taken for a ride!
BUT LET PEACE PREVAIL!
Find democratic and political ways of dealing with this highly contentious matter! After all, it is not only Raila who has been deprived of his constitutional right to a run off against Uhuru. It is the will of the Kenyan people, demonstrated through their votes in this election, that has been shamelessly disregarded! Do not hesitate to correct me if I’m wrong or if you think that I have misinterpreted the figures presented by the IEBC.
Sincerely
Stefan Wikström
Hahahaha, ooh lord. Why do people take us for fools? So, according to your loooong story here, you want to tell us that there was over 100% turnout? Do you know the number of registered voters? Can you stop creating propaganda!
KSB: We do hope that Stefan Wikström is listening. Too much propaganda is not good for the Nation. What do you say to this reader Wikstöm?
Is true this guys are taking Kenyans for granted by stealing election results. This is the second time.
Next time Kenya will burn they will take the cross.
