  1. I met Oscar in Cheltenham in 2007, by now he had descended into deep alcoholism and begging to fund his daily cider which started with a 6am visit to the Motpellier Co-Op store and ended whenever he crashed out. Despite his often abusive tirades, many tried and miserrably failed to help him, as by now he had drinking buddy Jackie et al whose company he preferred. Death at an early age from liver failure was inevitable…..with trust in God, he has found the peace which eluded him in life.

  2. How anyone can make a comment like the above about a man that has died is beyond me,Oscar had a loving family, a privileged upbringing,it was maybe the result of a hit and run driver, that left Oscar with severe brain damage, impaired sight short term memory lossand vulneralbility, people he thought were friends stole from him,he didn’t need to beg,and nor would he,he was a highly intelligent man ,charismatic, talented, and full of humility,God Bless Oscar RIP,.

    1.
