Attunda District Court delivered a verdict of murder and forensic psychiatric care on the 31-year-old woman in Sigtuna who admitted that she drowned her two children. She will also be deported to Kenya and never be allowed back to Sweden for the rest of her life.
The 31-year-old admitted a few days after her children, two boys, were found drowned at Munkholmen lake in Sigtuna, in September last year, that she pushed them. The children were eight and four years old.
Forensic psychiatric examinations have previously shown that the mother has a serious mental disorder and therefore can not be sentenced to prison.
Although the mother admitted that she drowned the children, she wanted her actions to be classified as manslaughter. She has also opposed the deportation and wanted it limited to five years only.
The court ruled that the woman actively planned the deed, and therefore be convicted of murder. She will not return to Sweden.
The woman had previously said that she also planned to take her own life and that she thought the family would be better off in heaven. She had the time of the murder resigned from her job as a cleaner, sought new jobs without success and wanted to get welfare benefits. The 31-year old mother had sole custody of both children.

UPPDATERAD. Mamman som dränkte sina två barn vid Munkholmen i september döms nu för mord. Hon ska överlämnas till rättspsykiatrisk vård och sedan utvisas ur Sverige på livstid.
Under rättegången hävdade advokaten att det fanns flera omständigheter kring mammans situation som gjorde att hon borde dömas för dråp, bland annat menade advokaten att mamman på grund av sin psykiska störning inte såg någon annan lösning.
Men när domen föll under måndagen meddelade tingsrätten att mamman ska dömas för mord. Enligt rätten fanns betydligt fler och starkare omständigheter som talar för mord.
Som skäl till mordrubriceringen anger rätten att mamman hade tänkt på att ta barnen och sitt eget liv i en vecka.
Tingsrättens beslut påverkas också av att händelsen måste ha varit ångestladdad för båda barnen. Att den yngste sonen Elias grät ses som ett bevis på den ångest barnen upplevde.
Mamman döms till rättspsykiatrisk vård. Eftersom rätten menar att det finns risk för återfall i allvarlig brottslighet gäller också särskild utskrivningsprövning. Utskrivningsprövningen innebär att mamman inte kan skrivas ut av läkarna på den rättspsykiatriska kliniken. I stället måste en domstol pröva risken för återfall i brottslighet.
När mamman kommer ut ska hon utvisas på livstid. Mammans advokat har ställt sig emot detta och sagt att en utvisning kan försena mammans tillfrisknande. Men att mamman var allvarligt psykisk störd när brottet begicks och har en problematisk relation med vissa av sina familjemedlemmar i hemlandet har inte påverkat rättens bedömning av utvisningen.
Pappan får inte det skadestånd på 50 000 kronor som han har begärt.I domen står det att han inte har kunnat visa att hans relation med sonen var sådan att han ska anses som närstående.
Varken åklagaren eller mammans advokat var under måndagen anträffbara för kommentarer om domen.

guys i think we should not judge Nyambura the only judge should be God.None of those who judged her can throw stones at her coz who is perfect.No sin is bigger than the other so think before you cast the stone.Let her God deal with her.Am not condoning what she did but its not up to us coz all of us are sinners.Nyambura has paid and she is still paying and as a parent i can imagine what shes feeling and how her life will be.The courts have judged her let God do his wishes and theres no sin that God cannot forgive,so if so who are we?
Hakim Hakim bin Mhakim…. I cant believe my eyes of what you stating herE. Are you for real or??! Grace is a murderer who killed her two babies. Drowned them not ones, but twice. What part of that don´t you get. Of course people are mad, not because its Grace but because of what she did. I mean nobody really cares about her, and i believe they got their reasons. Yes, she´s able to get children s again, and that thought just sickens me. Even she´s a beautiful lady as your saying, hahahahahahah beauty is not everything, her action makes her to the most ugliest thing. You may support her, (maybe you also got some killing bloods in you) but don’t expect people doing the same thing, to support a murderer. Next time she might kill you, who knows, just saying.
Yee hope she´ll love Kenya, since she was crying not to get deported. We don’t care if she´ll marries or not, but she defiantly do not deserve to get kids again, and needs to close those legs tightly. And by the way if she ever will be able to live with what she did, that will truly Verify her Character. Its not only Kenyan people, but the people of Sweden, people with some sense who own a heart heart and empathize are angry because two innocent boys lost their lives. But that does not seems to bother you much, which is very worrying. WE CHOOSE TO CARE MORE FOR THE BOYS. Hope you´ll get an invitations to her wedding.
