  1. Raila Agwambo brother ya Akinyi, Tinga, Amolo Odinga is the torch that shines light into the dark corners created by the rotten GEMA system in Kenya. He is the Saviour of Kenya come 2012. He is as clean as refined cotton. Untouchable, yet humane. He is the answer to all the problems created by GEMA, especially IMPUNITY that is Uhuru Kenyatta’s middle name. President Raila Odinga TOSHA for 2012!

  2. Kenyans wherever they are Worldwide should respect the Kenyan Prime Minister and the President of the Republic of Kenya. Those are the leaders of the Kenyans people regardless of what those on streets says. The name Prime Minister is not something one can level it to a tribe title unless that person is ignorant in leadership of a Country.

  3. Raila Odinga the Kingmaker Agwambo, I like your brave personality that shows how principled you are. I assure you my vote for the Presidency in 2012. Umetosha Baba wa Taifa.

  4. Raila is the ONLY man to watch in 2012. He shall leave the other candidates nyuma vibaya sana in the presidential election. He is the only man who can rule Kenya after Kibaki takes his failed ideas with him to Othaya next year.

  5. We just know one man who will rule a Kenyan people`s n we r not goin 2 take this opportunity out of Central bt the man is Simba wa taifa MR, UHURU KENYATTA wat a lovely life will it be in our Country.

  6. His father fight 4 our country 2 get independence so let us nt 4get dat Mzee ama niaje wakenya, VOTE 4 UHURU ndiye baba wetu 4rm 2012 haleluyaaaa……

  7. According to Professor Ali Mazrui:

Jaramogi Oginga Odinga joined forces with Tom Mboya in the struggle against white settlers’ privileges and for the release of the imprisoned national leader, Jomo Kenyatta.

A more dramatic blow for democracy struck by Oginga Odinga occurred when he was invited to the residence of the Governor, Sir Patrick Renison, and offered the leadership of the first African government in colonial Kenya. This event occurred in Government House (now called State House) in Nairobi in 1960.

The British Governor and the Kenyan nationalist were both standing when the offer was made. It seemed to be the chance of a lifetime. It turned out to be Oginga Odinga’s last opportunity to become premier of Kenya on the eve of independence. Oginga Odinga is reported to have responded as follows to the Governor:

“If I accept your offer, I will be seen as a traitor to my people. The British cannot elect me leader to my people. Kenyatta is around, just here at Lodwar. Release him and allow him to lead us; he is already our choice.”

Sir Patrick Renison was temporarily stunned. He then summoned the driver to take Mr. Oginga Odinga back to his native quarters in Nairobi.

We now know that Oginga Odinga struck a blow against external selection of African leaders. He had sacrificed what turned out to be his last opportunity to lead Kenya. His incumbency could have transformed the ethnic configurations of postcolonial Kenya.

If Oginga Odinga had accepted the Governor’s offer, then he could have presided over the release of Jomo Kenyatta, and Kenyatta might have become Odinga’s Vice President instead of the other way round.

If Odinga’s first blow in favor of democracy was to reject the external selection of African leaders, Odinga’s second blow in favour of democracy was to challenge the doctrine of one-party monopoly of power.

  8. Raila Odinga looking so presidential… Mama Purity had to toe the line because Mr Prezzo was in da house!

  9. As raila could be the best choice he has been letting us down. His work was to watch the government when they do wrong and inform wananchi. But he has been working together with them. Why is wetangula and thuita mwangi back to work without clearance. When he was supposed to answer this question he didnt appear in the parliamen and marede had to cover him. To me the whole group is rotten. THE BEST CHOICE OF PEOPLE IS PETER KENNETH WHO HAVE EVEN DELIVERED IN THEIR CONSTITUENCIES. aLL THE BEST KENNETH

  10. uhuru kenyatta will be jailed at the hague next year. anybody suggesting he will be at the presidential race is just dreaming.

  11. I thnk ma brothers n sisters now we r comin 2 da point its better to vote 4 this man PETER KEN than wasting ua vote 2 (huyo kuku anamnyemelea mwewe angalia yeye anafunga bao) ati ye ni Agwambo tinga, Kenyans let us unite n VOTE 4 P.KEN or KIJANA UHURU.

  12. Raila cannot do much to control PNU. Thuita Mwangi was returned despite the suspicion that he was at fault because he accepted to be Muthaura’s witness at the recent ICC hearings. Siasa mbaya, maisha mbaya.

  13. Why in this Picture (photo)Purity Wakiuru Muhindi The ambassador looking Hon:PM Raila Odinga with suspicion?
Why do Kikuyus hate The Hon PM with Passion? This Picture speaks alot!
Purity Wakiuru Muihindi has Overstayed her place as a Kenya Ambassador in Scandinavia and its her right time to be re-called back to Nairobi (Kenya).

  14. New poll reveals ODM still favourite
    Saturday, 22nd October 2011

    By Athman Amran

About half of all Kenyans belong to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, a poll by the Centre for Multi-Party Democracy (CMD) and Infotrak Harris indicates
The poll shows ODM has 45 per cent popularity among those interviewed, followed by Party of National Unity (PNU) with 27 per cent. ODM-Kenya and Ford-Kenya ties at position three with eight per cent each.

Narc-Kenya has four per cent, United Democratic Movement (UDM), three per cent, Kanu and New Ford-K, two per cent each and Narc, one per cent.

However, the poll indicates that only 23 per cent of those surveyed mentioned that they were registered members of a political party with ODM commanding the majority.

“Eighty-two per cent of those who mentioned they belong to ODM indicated they are registered members,” Infotrak CEO Angela Ambitho said at the CMD offices in Nairobi yesterday. She was accompanied by CMD Chairman Justin Muturi.

The poll also indicates that most registered members of an individual party come from Nyanza, with North Eastern region recording the lowest with four percent.

Nyanza has 46 per cent registration, followed by Eastern (25 per cent), Nairobi (24 per cent), Western (22 per cent), Central (18 per cent), Rift Valley and Coast (10 per cent) and North Eastern (four per cent).

Asked which party they trust, Majority of those polled said ODM (44.2 per cent) followed by PNU (32.3 percent), Narc-Kenya (7.1 per cent) ODM-Kenya (3.5 per cent), UDM (3.2 per cent), Kanu and FordeKenya (2.6 per cent each) and Ford-People (2.4 per cent).

“More than half of the membership of any political party in Kenya today do not trust the party they belong to,” Ms Ambitho said.

  15. Jaramogi Ajuma Oginga Odinga was not a selfish man and when offered Kenya’s Premiership by then British Governor Sir Patrick Renison, he rejected by saying that he would rather Kenyans waited for Mzee Jomo Kenyatta to be released from Kapenguria Jail to lead the country. That was the beginning of the shift of power to the hungry GEMA elites who have since destroyed Kenya. Kenyatta was released and made Ajuma his vice president. However, when Jaramogi queried his lack of democratic leadership, he was sacked and detained. The rest is history.

Fast forward and in came Raila Odinga, the firebrand politician and son of Jaramogi who declared: “Kibaki Tosha” in 2002. He won because of his Kibaki never thanked him and in 2005 sacked him from the Caninet. Come 2007, Kibaki had to retain his presidency so rigged the elections to show that he was ahead of Raila. Eventually the post election violence (PEV) took place. Many died and those who survived still live in camps or in other traumatic conditions. Kibaki doesn’t care because he has all the money he needs, and is sure of keeping the GEMA plan to have him in power for 10 years. Life sucks for the poor Kenyan and now the GEMA elites are busy looting the Treasury. Uhuru is a failure as Finance Minister.

  16. Very many Luos voted for Kibaki in 2002 but now instead of supporting Raila as a thank you, they see him only as a Luo and not as a capable man to lead Kenya. Raila campaigned for Kibaki when the man could not even talk after his accident in 2002 and also had a stroke. Away with tribalism.

  17. Ngoje #20, I think that Wakikuyu na Wajuluo can rule Kenya very well and show the smaller tribes the road to democracy by ensuring democratic election of the President ragrdles of tribe. Among our leaders, I think Wakikuyu have been unfair to Wajaluo although both Luo and Kikuyu ordinary people have all continued to suffer under the dirty politics. If only these two tribes can begin to unite, the whole of Kenya will because these two tribes are the problem in Kenya.

  18. Opondo: well stated. Ordinary Kikuyus have no problems unless they get swayed by their Mount Kenya Mafia. Politically, Luos have voted for and supported Kikuyu leaders right from the Independence struggle. It is sad that these elites have driven a wedge between the ordinary Luos and Kikuyus. Recall the bitter theatrics by Uhuru Kenyatta in Central province just before their first Hague trip, demonizing Raila? History shows both Raila’s father (the late Jaramogi) and now Raila himself have worked to bring Kikuyus to the Presidency. I only hope that there can be a political compromise between these two tribes, well in favor of the Luos this time, for the sake of rotating the presidency and also developing the country.

  19. Opondo(Kikuyu)How can Luos Unite with Kikuyus?please give us some examples!
For the last 47 years of enemity do you think (fake) unity can be achieved?
How many Luos killed in Kisumu mayhem ? Under the order of a Kikuyu Police boss in Kisumu?
Why are you so cheap in your unity of Myth?
Luos & the Kikuyus are leading in terms of Academicians/physicians/engineers (the elites) why then both tribes cannot come together ?
Are you blind to see how Kikuyu ruling class hates your man from the Lake?
Do you remember how the same Kikuyu-Ruling-class isolated the Late Mzee Jaramogi from coming near the Top-of leadership in Kenya?

Why was Tom Mboya assasinated? and Why was Ouko killed and nothing happened?
Wake up from your simple rat brain!

  20. KIKUYU WILL RULE THIS COUNTRY UNTILL WEN JESUS COMES N SAY ITS ENOUGH 4 KIUK NOW N DAT YEAR WILL B (2099),SO WALUO WILL RULE FROM (2100) N ITS NOT FAR MR.RAILA TAKE IT EASY N DONT BRING WAR AGAIN IN DA COUNTRY WE R TIRED OF IT, KWAHERI!

KSB: You are posting as “Opanda”, “Destroyer” and “Omena”. This is not allowed. Assume one handle instead of trying to create the impression that many people are posting on a subject. Secondly, do not use capital letters otherwise yr posts will be dumped.

  21. KSB: so you noticed the multiple handles of ‘omena et al’ but with the same avatar? This is another one suffering from Raila phobia.Lakini hatatoboa because he is so GEMA minded.so bogus if this is the type supporting Uhuru

  22. United Democratic Front (UDM) leader General Koech has said “Kenyans need a focused leader to take us to the next level. I can only see that in the PM.” Koech accused Ruto of having lost direction and wants the Kalenjin to sink with him.

“Kalenjins have realised the falsehoods Ruto used to spread about Raila were not about the community, but himself. All the falsehoods Ruto has been peddling against the PM, such as the Mau evictions, Kalenjin youth languishing in jails owing to post-election violence, have since dissipated,” said Koech.

Koech is also in court demanding orders to have Kamwaro, who is also a member of Catering and Tourism Development Levy Trustee, Francis Koech, the UDM vice-chairman who is also member of the Kenya Seed Company Board, and Joseph Lagat, Rehema Jaldessa, and Moses Cheboi declared State Officers and barred from holding political party posts.

Another top UDM official, who did not want to be named for fear of victimisation, revealed that there was a rebellion within party NEC against Ruto over claims of dictatorship. The official said half of the NEC has opposed what he described as his “modus operandi”.

He said they have been opposing Ruto’s bid to change officials without following party rules or involving current officials.

In the South Rift, Chepalungu MP Isaac Rutto has opened war with Belgut MP Charles Keter and Konoin MP Julius Kones over political control of the Kipsigis.

“Ruto is finished on the ground. We wonder what he is really up to, but we do think he thought he could package himself as the spokesman of the Kipsigis to survive,” Dr Kones said.
