Event Venue Moved from “Club Galaxy” to “Club Starlight”
As we went to press, booking for the Africa Night Cruise had passed the 750 mark creating a crisis which has since been resolved. Originally, events during the historic cruise were supposed to take place at Club Galaxy which has a capacity of 500 guests. This was the original estimated number of guests the organizers had hoped for.
This morning, news arrived at Ritz Headquarters that the booking was approaching 800 guests and that this number cannot fit into Club Galaxy. The open alternative was to move the event to Club Satrlight which has a capacity of 1200 guests. A Major complication was that Club Starlight had already been booked for something else and a change had to be made so that the Africa Night Cruise event could be transferred to the bigger Club.
According to Siljaline, the boat has now been taken over officially by the 2010 “Africa Night Cruise” and anybody who books will have access to Club Starlight which will be packed with action throughout the Cruise. The difference is that booking has been re-opened and those booking in the next 24 hours will have to pay the normal prices listed under Ritz code at Siljaline’s website.
Another important piece of information is that those who had booked without the Ritz code need to call Siljaline immediately and state that they are part of the Night Cruise. These are people who paid 140kr (for the cheapest cabin) and they will have to pay an additional 300kr (Minimum depending on the class of Cabin) so that they will be able to boad.
