According to latest reports reaching KSB, millionaire Barbz has been sent to prison following successful prosecution on charges of financial fraud. The Kenyan youth has not been seen in public since judgment was delivered on her case about three weeks. According to details of the case, she got contact with her prey through dating sites in the Internet, lured them into a trap before conning them of huge amounts of cash.
All her three phone lines are currently dead while a day before she was reportedly jailed, she missed an appointment with a KSB agent who wanted to find out the truth about her problems with the police.
A case in which she had claimed that a Pastor had defrauded her of millions of Kenyan shillings was dismissed by the prosecution. Although she could show that cash worth over 8 million Kenyan shillings had been wired to her in Sweden through contacts in Kenya and Germany, and although it could also be shown that part of this money was wired to a bank account which belonged to a Church, the prosecution could not show that the Pastor and another Kenyan youth who were signatories to the account were breaking the law by withdrawing money from the account or spending it using Credit cards.
A few months ago, rumours hit Kenya-Stockholm that Barbz had been arrested but this information soon dried up when Barbz surfaced at a pub in Södermalm in Stockholm. According to a contact who has been in the know, Barbz was released pending judgment of her case and it is during this time that she surfaced before being locked in after judgment.
After she was released from custody, KSB booked an appointment with her which never materialized as she was reportedly nabbed by police to begin serving her sentence. We understand that she will be deported to Kenya once she finishes her prison term.
In the meantime, a Kenyan businessman is also doing time in prison for failure to pay taxes. It is estimated that the Kenyan has not paid taxes amounting to over 7 million Kenyan shillings. In Sweden, tax offences are taken very seriously.
The Kenyan has been experiencing problems with the tax authorities for over 3 years although news that he is serving in prison took some Kenyans by surprise. During the period when the tax authorities were after him, the Kenyan reportedly sold all his assets including cars and other valuables. He closed down his business and took a very low profile before the tax men came for him. This is very sad news because the Kenyan was one of the most progressive and inspiring within the Kenya-Stockholm business community.

At last the truth is out about Barbz the “Millionaire”. A con artist like her deserves punishment, though I wonder how long she will serve her sentence. Well if the Pastor gained out of her, then this is a case of a conwoman being conned, meaning that the Pastor is a Master of the game.
Barbz was often in the company of some Nigerians suspected for fraudulent deals, and it was a matter of time before the authorities caught up with her. She played her game well, trapping men all over Western Europe, but the prison doors were just waiting for her to enter. She always claimed to have unlimited money, but we now know that this was from various illegal schemes.
I hope that she gets a long prison term and to be deported never to see Europe again. Such are the people who mess up our good name.
It truely beats me! The limits this gal aka millionare Barbz went to get her funds then later just squander them in stockholm pubs like she did! Something is definately very wrong here. I just don’t get it. How come she did’nt have a plan? Was it showbiz or was it due to the desparation of keeping the millionare title she luckily got? Then again easy come easy go.How can she be deported and to where? Ninasemekana ati she does’nt have a passport and the kenyan embassy denied knowing her, hence can hail from any country in Africa. Barbz hope you learn your lession ma sista.
If you don’t pay taxes in Sweden, the penalty is stiff and ranges from hefty fines to jail. Yes, the Kenyan businessman was progressive but also lived above his income. I hope that he will recover and do worthy things after the jail-term.
@Lili..cant agree more….these are exactly the people messing up our good names.
..seems she was smart in conning people but on the other hand very stupid to spend the money careless in pubs…so it was clear sooner or later the bomb will blast and jail will be the end of the conning-road for her.
