Kikuyus for change is quite a brilliant idea. But what change are you preachng if your title already spells out tribalism? The title alone blocks other tribes from attending or contributing to your agenda.
Yeas, Kikuyus have been called this and that. They have been accused of being what they aren’t and. Converging at a meeting just as Kikuyus won’t alter a anything. Infact, you will soon be accused of plotting fishy agendas.
Why didnt you give the “thought’ a universal title? Like, what Martin suggested – Kenyas for change? That way, I will feel fear-free to attend with my Luo, Kalenjin, Taita, name them friends. They need to participate and know that, Kikuyus are, infact, not thieves, that indeed all Kikuyus are not Mungiki and that some Kikuyus are as poor as church mice.
After progressing, you could then tour Kikuyu villages. Here they will witness with awe, grass thatched houses. How some Kkuyus suffer and die from jigger infections. This would be a real true change movement. Then and only then will you create change.

War was declared on the Kikuyu after Kibaki rigged elections. The Rift Valley is a no-go zone for the Kikuyu according to Kalengin elder Jackson Kibor, being interviwed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eG4rDSXr3us
KSB: This is sad because the ordinary Kikuyu had nothing to do with election rigging but it is them who paid the ultimate price.
Milton,Kikuyu Kalenjin hatred is a far gone case. There was no war declared on Kikuyus. Its our politicians who, as always, wanted to position themselves. Haven’t you heard the possibility of KK(Kikuyu ,Kalenjin) party for 2012?. And the darm guys will do it, and the voters will answer their call with over flowing votes.
