Dr. Jose Chameleon, the re-knowned East African Superstar, will be in Stockholm next month as part of celebrations to commemorate the 47th Uganda Independence day. The show will also feature DJ Michael along with Phina Mugerwa who is set to send the crowd crazy.
The Uganda independence day celebration will take place on Friday October 9th 2009 Live at Broma Salen at Gustavslundsvägen 168 (Tube Alvik). Before then, Dr Chameleon will be playing at Mama Africa (H62 at Mariatorget) on 8th October and on 10th October, the Superstar will hit the stage at Club Nile (Callister Bar) which is the latest hot African music spot to open in Stockholm. Club Nile is located at Sergels Torg in T-Centralen.
Definitely, this is a “No miss” three day entertainment series and the people to thank are none other than “Mama Africa”” in close conjunction with “Self Management” who have been working “overtime” to ensure that the East African community is well entertained, not just at the disco level but also at the “Live Artistic” level with Dr. Chameleon on stage this time around.
If you are keen on attending the show on the 9th, it is important to note that you can get a ticket for 250 kr with advance booking. It will be more expensive to book at the gate because it will cost 350 kr (100 kr more) so you have been warned! Tickets are available at Taj Mahal, Mariatorgiet and Calister Bar.
