You can imagine my shock after reading your blog which I stumbled upon while googl ing the so called “DR ANDY NJERU”. The jamaa contacted me towards the end of last month claiming we had previously chatted on a site. I agreed to meet him out of curiosity and also cos I thought my buddies were pulling a fast one on me.
I had never seen the dude and told him so and he pretended to be very hurt. After that I called all my buddies but no one had set me up so was very confused how he got my number and knew me.
After the meeting, the dude bombarded me with texts- oh so beautiful, was star struck and had many things to tell me, then suggested another date!
Like the headless chicken I am, I agreed to meet him, this time got into his car (really careless) and the dude started pouring his sob story about ”his fiancée, Cynthia, whom he paid for to do a Masters degree, cheated on him with his best friend at his house in Spring valley”.
I love sob stories and therefore got hooked; then the dude proposes! I was like; what the fhk but thot it was rebound or something. Like the chilee in your story…I have been going through hard economic times and grabbed this heavenly sent chance.
Luckily I was out of town the following week and didn’t meet him but chatted via texts (I hate texting but the dude refused to pick all my calls). He informed me he was on holiday for a short stay and was leaving on 18/6 and not without me. I protested because of family obligations besides handing in notice at work but the dude was adamant.
During the week, the dude mentioned he was meeting and dining with the Danish Ambassador ’Her Excellency’ and this is when I started catching up on the lying trail. Fortunately, in March, I was involved in a Danida funded project and met the Ambassador- Bo Derek who is very much a man!
I didn’t say anything but started playing it safely. The dude then says that he has to travel to Rwanda and needed to process my documents immediately; he had earlier asked me how much I could contribute to my travel and I said 20k since it was short notice but could as well take care of all my expenses if he gave me up to September to settle my affairs.
He asked me to look for an extra 20k and I promised to borrow from a friend. I then googled the Embassy to check visa requirements; then texted asking for photo dimensions (white background-no dimensions??), visa fees- 145 euro (Embassy site- 5k), travel insurance- 33k and return ticket- 96k. At least the last 2 matched.
On 1st June, the dude calls and says he needs my documents asap bcoz he has an 11 o’clock flight. Then I figured: if this dude wants me that badly, then he could as well pay for all the travel expenses then I can at least have cash for use in Denmark……
So I cooked a story of how my sis was locked out by her landlord and I bailed her, promising to repay the money once he processed my docs. The dude takes my passport and says tutampatia discount kwa dowry (at this point I really believed him and felt very guilty).
Later that evening, he texts saying he couldn’t travel (wondered if my money was supposed to pay for travel?); then whines how he’s the only one making efforts to get me to Denmark; so I promise to get some cash from the Office the next day.
Next day, bombards me with texts asking kama nimepata dough….I was like- now this is desperate. So lied my boss travelled overseas unexpectedly and so I couldn’t access money.
He then started calling me a gold digger whose interest was travelling only. So I got pissed off and asked for my passport back and cut all communication (ignored all his texts).
Last Friday he sent back my passport via G4S. Im really happy bcoz I was still cooking the kasob mugging story I would have had to tell the Karaos.
The dude has been constantly texting seeking reconciliation and I was almost giving in until I stumbled upon this blog. He has been asking me for the process of visa processing for some of the international travels from my passport. I guess there’s another fish closing in.
FACTS ABOUT HIM.
-Claims to be a paediatric surgeon at a hospital in Copenhagen- Dr Andy Njagi- but while he sent my passport he signed off the courier papers as Dr A. Njeru (that’s how I finally got to this blog).
-Claims to be up for promotion to Chief resident since the current guy is almost dying of old age.
-The dude has a pot belly, about 6 ft but not eloquent in English (most doctors are very physically fit).
-Dude is currently driving a Toyota Carina Reg. KBF 056K hired from GO4FUN SAFARIS. If you check their site, one of the travel coordinators is called ANDY NDERI & the director ANDREW KARIUKI. Sincerely hope this is a coincidence.
– He claims to be at the coast….
Well, will give more update as the soap-opera progresses and as he is still in touch but hope the net closes in on him soon.

Ladies,we need to be a little bit smarter. Men, after falling in pyramid schemes, are turning their brains in more `useful’ and `brighter’ ways to lure us. Nation Saturday is full of this trash. I am shocked by the revelation that this dude has been a very smart conman. To my amazement he uses the same lies on gals. I doubt he is even a doctor in sweden but rather a con man in Kenya. I think we need to forward more facts about him including his picture if possible.

I know this chile and she told us that within hours of this blog being posted online,the said guy texted her threatening her for tarnishing his name on the internet.
I think this guy may truly be from Sweden or else how could he have known within an hour of being posted online that he had been exposed.

i met the man Dr.Andy Njeru in dec 2008,at that time i had just lost my job and was trying out business.the man gave the exact same story how he was dumped by a girl he had paid for masters at USIU.here he was desperate for a wife to move back with in sweden.
we met on several occasions and did like 200 texts in a day..i started falling in love…dah!
he hurried me prepare my travel documents which i somehow beleived his story,he even claims to have met her excellency to speed up the process…he finaly asked me to contribute for my travel which clearly i hesitated,since this was a doctor marrying me and carying me back to sweden..y could he not pay for all my expenses?at this point i knew there was something fishy.
the truth is the guy is very convencing and his storys are moving..any girl would fall prey..
he claims hes embian which true he is coz we spoke embu and meru on several occasions.
i initially instisted we need to meet my parents if for real we were geting maried,he said we would when all the travel documents were ready!!! he says he has a house in spring valley which he has given to the mum.
i cant beleive that guy has conned girls with the same story.am all praises to God because were it not for my business which had taken up all my savings i would have fallen prey to this con man.
imagine we dated for 3months up to feb 2009 but luckily i didnt take him to bed….our dates were always in his car!!! sometimes at nakumatt basement where we would chat for hours then he drives off…he was always in a hurry meeting dignitaries.lol

@ Esther, i thnk those are not the man’s name en he does not work in Sweden. That is a storo he created in order to cheat on numereou gals. But what am sure of is that he is paying for all his deeds right now en the consquences are worse than he thot.

Don’t worry guys. Checked with CID yesterday and the information they have on him is incredible including all the cars he has used. I have paid my own money to see him brought to book. I had wanted to pay for an advert with his picture on the daily nation but the cops said that would give him a good chance to free. The information they got is alot i was shocked. He could be enjoying his last free hours before he spends years behind bars. That is what that dog deserves

I am still interested in what becomes of Mr. Njeru. Honestly, I have been in a quandry as to what to believe about him. Do I believe him? Do I believe KSB? I have never met anyone associated with him in whatever manner. I have read and reread KSB stories about him, and must confess, so many things he said are exactly what he told me.
I have to go with you, KSB. I e-mailed Andy about two days ago and told him it difficult for me to analyze the situation. He never answered my letter. Guess that says it all.
Please, do notify me of follow-up comments via e-mail. How I hope you catch this man. Frankly, I can’t believe I was so dumb!
