Mr. Martin Ngatia, one of the initiative takers of ODM-Scandinavia and Chairperson of Kenya Scandinavia Democratic Movement (KESDEMO), has sent a message of condolence to one of ODM-Kenya luminaries, Mr. Kalonzo Musyoka and his entire family, following the death of her mother this week.
Speaking to Kenya Stockholm Blog, Mr. Ngatia said that the loss of a mother is always a sad event and hoped that Kalonzo’s family would have the strength to go through the loss.
“Some of us could not even bury their parents during the Moi dictatorship and as a person who has lost a parent, I understand the situation of Mr. Kalonzo’s family”, Mr. Ngatia said.
The KESDEMO Chairman hoped that Mr. Kalonzo would quickly go through the mourning process and get back to the struggle to remove Narc from power at next year’s General elections.
ODM-Scandinavia was briefed about the sad news by ODM-Kenya headquarters hours after Kalonzo’s mother passed away in Kenya.
In the meantime, Mr. Ngatia also sent condolences to the family of Mrs Florence Asum, a Kenyan resident in Stockholm, following the death of Mrs Asum’s brother. Mr. Ngatia said that death and bereavement is a permanent feature which everyone has to face in life. Friends are gathering at Mrs Asum’s residence in Bålsta to console the bereaved family.
