When new comers read KSB today, one may be tempted to think that the idea of reporting the Kenya-Stockholm news began when blogging came of age. Long before the word “blogging” was invented, there was a Kenya-Stockholm community and news used to flow through a monthly newsletter called KUWA Bulletin (KB). The Bulletin used to be posted to over 100 Kenyans in the Stockholm area and it used to cover diverse issues, ranging from socio-cultural events to politics and scandals.
There is a huge archive of the Kenya-Stockholm life that has never seen the light of day and with the digital age, it might be necessary to digitalize this archive and bring it online for posterity. This is a front page copy of the monthly “KUWA Bulletin” fished from the archives. When the Bulletin folded in 2003 due to reasons which were well documented, and which are well known to key players at that time, KSB surfaced three years later.

Kenya-Stockholm was lively and had good relations with the Embassy before Purity. Ambassador Sergony and his staff at that time, used to attend various events organized by Kenyans. Today, Ambassador Purity shows the opposite character; aloof, anti-social and have no regard for the welfare of Kenya-Stockholmers. They never attend fundraisings or bother to say anything at events by Kenyans.
