My husband and I are currently visiting Stockholm from Nairobi and were yesterday evening taken to the famous Vasa pub in town by a Kenyan relative. We were having a good time until a Kenyan woman entered. She said hello to our friend who knew her then went to the gambling machines.
After about an hour, the lady came back to our table and began asking for money saying: “Instead of buying me a drink, give me 50kr or 100kr.” We insisted that we could only buy her drinks but then she asked if we could pay her transport back to her apartment. We again said no. The woman told us that she has two children. We were very surprised that in a developed country like Sweden, a Kenyan can arrive only to beg for money in bars. It was very nauseating and we wondered what else is going on here.
As a Kenyan who is proud to be a Kenyan, I felt compelled to share this experience because the woman does not seem “mentally ill” for her to beg around, so she must be having other personal problems. We didn’t want to embarrass her by asking why she was begging for money. Anyway Kenya-Stockholmers, please look into her welfare to see if she can be helped. It is a shame to meet a Kenyan who has Swedish citizenship begging like that.

This woman must be stopped because she normaly gets enough money from sjukbidrag every month and she cannot pay the rent she takes all the money to the mashines(spel-mashine).i would ask the kenyan women to help this woman before she meet bad people who can damage her.there is many restaurangs she cannot enter around stockholm for disterbing customers.please help her.
Well we have beggars all over the world. The perception that beggars are only in Africa is totally wrong, we have beggars in New York, London, and across the globe .Possesing a swedish citizenship does not gurantee that one is doing well or rather one can never be a pauper!!
To da so called husband n wife i think u got wat u deserve coz wat took u to those cheap bars, i mean come n drink where pple who breath fresh oxygen like me drink, then ull be flubbergusted.
Knowing matematics I recommend people not to play on them. Those mashines are set with a program that gives some money randomly. But in the long run the mashine always win. There are better ways of making money.
I agree with Frida #2 this woman is just irresponsible and must stop gambling. She spends all her money on gambling machines in Stockholm city pubs thus cannot take care of herself.i recommend her female friends at Klara Church should take her to a psychiatrist.

Its not strange because the other day I saw several other beggars who are not africans. People have the impression that its only in africa that people beg. Aproblem doesnt choose or select where one comes from or whether one is a citizen of some country or not. Being a citizen is just a name so to speak.
4 sure this woman has already started umalaya cos i heard there is one day she was helped with where to sleep by a Swedish man whereby she spent 2 days n another day she asked 2 men for 200kr then she was asked 2 follow them and she left the one who had decided to promote her with food n drinks. Please let us help her b4 she get AIDs. One kenyan man has tried to help her by talking to her n giving her company while he is free bt all had been invain.
this woman gets money from the Swedish government because she is listed as sick. however,she is just irresponsible as mentioned by somebody here. She has therefore lost her apartment because she could not pay the rent. she knows better why she is begging but she is an eyesore and a public nuisance.

This can drive any normal human being crazy. Put yourselves in her stuation . That mama is in dire need of help. We kenyans blame others forgotting tommorrow it could be you or me!So plkease come with your good ideas and stop criticising this Kenyan woman who is in distress humiliation and loss of self esteem.
I would advice the so called Kenya religious men & women to assist the Kenya woman First with their Prayers!secondly to arrange a contact with the Kenya Embassy in Stockhol and talk to Purity Muhindi hence she is a woman and both belong to the same Kikuyu tribe hence birds of the same feather flocks together.

The problem with that lady is obsessive compulsion to gamble. She needs counselling, and if found necessary psychiatric help.
Gambling and smoking are very similar in that after breaking the habit, it’s easy to go back to it. One needs an iron will to succeed.
Where are those men this Kenyan woman helped in getting (ma-Pepe)?

It is an insult and foolish for some commentaries in this tragedy facing one of us suffering to appoint of begging her country men/women.
Blaming this poor woman 100% is primitive and backward in terms of thinking.

What has he to say ?can he say something hence he is himself leading normal life with his family .despite being helped by this poor woman who now sleeps in the streets of Stockholm .
Clearly this woman needs help. For those of you who know her identity is there someone you know that’s close to her that could maybe be a point of contact? Does she have family in Sweden? Kids?
