After months of stability, KSB’s Scandal Depot has exploded, scattering huge chunks of poisonous “scandalero gases” across Kenya Stockholm’s stratosphere. Immediately after the explosion, two Kenyans were admitted in hospital with serious scandal-related injuries while a third Kenyan is in the Intensive Care Unit where he is fighting for the survival of his hard-earned reputation.
“We don’t know the real extent of the damage and we cannot tell the volume of scandal-gas that has escaped into Kenya-Stockholm’s stratosphere”, Dr. Ropokwa Maneno, the Chief of Protocol at the “Ministry of Rumours and Hot Gossip” told reporters during a well attended Press Conference in Stockholm city.
Just like in Japan where a nuclear plant exploded two weeks ago, the explosion at KSB’s Scandal Deport was precipitated by a powerful scandal-quake that registered 6.8 on the Vituko scale. As we went to Press, rescue operations were continuing to try and contain the scandal leak and to save reputations of victims, some of whom have already entered into deep crisis.
“We may have to declare a “Kenya-Stockholm Scandal Week” in the next few hours to cope with the crisis”, a Security Officer at the Deport told journalists.
KSB has called a “Crisis meeting” of both top Management staff and leading KISS agents in the field to discuss the aftermath of the explosion. Some scandals which are thought to have escaped were not supposed to be released until June this year while some Agents fear that certain scandals are so detailed that they may lead to sources being identified with unforeseen consequences.
“What we know is that there is a risk that “radio-active scandals” may lead to systematic deformation of characters affected and we are monitoring the situation for any abnormal levels of “gossip isotopes” in Kenya Stocholm or pollutants bearing “rumour particles”, Dr Ropokwa said. “It is too early to assess the damage at the moment”, he added.
Okoth Osewe
Am rolling on the floor with the loudest lafta in town. Kweli Osewe you have given me a good start for the weekend. I am waiting for the real juice!!
May be, KSB should appeal to the “International Scandal Agency” for help.
I am sorry to hear of that kind of scandal explosion. It is early to say anything. Let the investigation come out with the real cause.
Mr Osewe i know you as a good man and my advice to you sir is that engage in a productive kind of humour that people can live to remember you with instead of digging for scandals and rumours that have left permanet scares on some innocent people.Be more productive than destructive, this is 2011 not the days of KUWA when you guys were still growing up.I hope you conceive this coz publishing scandals that leaves beautiful people destroyed aint funny
KSB: May be, it was just an exaggeration. We call them “bad news” this time. I know you as a good man too but how could you have done that. At first, I thought it was a joke but as the details came in from Watu Wengine, I rushed to the toilet to wonder what may have gone wrong to an extent that you must have lost your mind. If she was that bad, you could have just dumped her instead of playing with her heart as if she was a toy. You told me that you are a Christian but now, I am doubting your salvation. Are you afraid of something? Something sinister that you think is a secret but is the talk of town? How long will you continue to live double lives. Can you give one single KSB scandal that has destroyed anybody more than the life you have ruined personally? Instead of trying to limit freedom of expression for personal gain, you ought to be asking for 4-give-ness. Take a break and relax because the summer is here!
Kenya Airways treats Kenyan Passangers like Pigs and does not value their money>
Nas food monopoly hurts Kenya’s tourism- Balala .
Saturday, 26 March 2011 00:02 BY BRIAN OTIENO . CRITICISED: Passengers alighting from a Kenya Airways plane in Luanda, Angola.

NAS’s food company’s monopoly of supplying food to airlines in Kenya should be abolished, Tourism minister Najib Balala has said. Balala said the monopoly enjoyed by NAS Airport Services is detrimental to the tourism sector as it encourages complacency in service delivery.
At the same time, the minister criticised the Kenya Airways, saying the airline does not give value for clients’ money.“Passengers feel shortchanged by Kenya Airways. There is no difference between the services in first class and business class yet the money paid is different. We have to get value for our money,” said Balala.
Balala was speaking during the launch of the national hotel classification at a Mombasa hotel. The minister said he has written Kenya Airways managing director Titus Naikuni to complain.
Balala, who is also the Mvita MP, said Kenya’s hospitality industry not only competes with neighbours like Zanzibar and Mauritius but also with countries like Egypt, Malaysia and Qatar.“The food is much better in international airlines than in the local ones. That is why the monopoly enjoyed by NAS is bad. There is need for another competitor to come on board and bring about stiff competition,” said the Tourism minister.Balala expressed disappointment that neighbouring countries like Zanzibar are classified higher than than Kenya in terms of products offered especially in the airline industry, though Kenya is ranked higher in terms of service.“That is only because we have better human resource. If we are not careful, we will lose tourists to our neighbours,” he warned.
He said Kenya is under pressure to compete with other tourism giants like Qatar, Malaysia, Egypt, among others.
