    That is correct. “The Kings college” is more of a slang than an official translation derived from the word ”Royal”. It’s sometimes used in speech to avoid the lengthy name in English. Its alternate is “The Royal College”. KTH is an acronym for “Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan” which, in any case, ought to translate to “Royal Technical High School” if strict translation rules are followed. In the end, it much depends on the context but at the official level, it remains the “Royal Institute of Technology” and so you get your way.
