It is with great sorrow that the family of Patrick Odhiambo announces the passing of their dear mother, Mama Fibi Aludo Odhiambo who departed yesterday, 30th June 2017 at Gendia Mission Hospital in Kenya after a short illness.

Consequently, an “Open House” has been set up at the residence of Patrick Odhiambo at Harpsundvägen 19 in Högdalen from 17.00hrs. The residence is 2 minutes-walk from Högdalen Centrum.

Relatives, friends, sympathisers, well-wishers and people of good-will are gathering at Patrick’s residence to condole with the bereaved family and to provide solace and comfort during this difficult and trying moment marked with great shock and sorrow. The sad news comes barely two years after the family lost their loving Dad who passed away in March 2015.

Mama Fibi, who was born on 15th March 1943, was the wife of the late John Odhiambo Aroka and a mother of 10 children. She was the mother of Kenya-Stockholmers: Patrick Odhiambo, Dan Aroka Odhiambo, Lensah Odhiambo, Diana and Victorn Odhiambo. She has left behind several grand-children and grand-grand-children.

KSB sends deep condolences to the bereaved family and hopes that the family will find enough courage and strength to go through this difficult time of mourning and grief. Mama Fibi has lived a good life, fought a good fight and now she has departed to be with her maker. Although Mama Fibi has departed, she will for ever be remembered by her children, grand-children and all those who knew and loved her.
