Ksh 1.6 Billion Tax Cash Stolen: Dramatic PAC’s Confrontation With Waiguru’s Conduit, Kabura
In this dramatic video which played itself at the hearing of a Public Accounts Committee in Nairobi, Josephine Kabura, a woman who was used as a conduit by corrupt Jubilee mafia cartels which siphoned funds from the National Youth Service (NYS), is confronted to show receipts linked to a Ksh 1.6 billion payment but she has none. She can’t account for even one Kenyan shilling. This is how crude corruption by the Mount Kenya Mafia cartel can get.
Using 20 shoddy companies, the woman was used to channel tax payer’s money for supply of goods that, the investigating Committee believes, were never delivered. The NYS dirty scandal was linked to former Cabinet Secretary, Ann Waiguru who is allegedly a mistress of President Uhuru Kenyatta. After being put under public pressure, Waiguru eventually quit, leaving her agents in crime like Kabura on the hook. Waiguru, the grand mistress of corruption in Kenya, is not just free but planning to use billions of stolen money to vie for the seat of Governor of Nairobi to continue with her robbery.
During the confrontation, Kabura is reminded that there are some people she is trying to protect and that is why she has no document or reciept to account for the funds. She is not revealing anything because she is following a script crafted by her masters. She has guarantees (probably from the President and top Mount Kenya mafia mongrels who used her) that nothing will happen to her. Her bosses even managed to avail to her a “legal expert” to help her with “technical issues” (not naming the thieves) but the Chair refused to give the expert more time for more crap.
In an ideal situation, and if the government was serious on fighting corruption, Kabura ought to have been taken into custody immediately after which the Directors of the 20 companies mentioned in the list of the Ksh 1.6 billion beneficiaries can be determined. In the meantime, and as she chills in custody, Kabura ought to have been subjected to intense interrogation so that she can “talk” for the real thieves who sent her to be known, arrested, tried, jailed or hanged at Uhuru Park. The problem, however is this.
According to information in the public domain, one of the thieves mentioned in the scandal is Ann Waiguru herself. It is also public knowledge that Waiguru recruited Kabura to help her steal public funds. If Waiguru is arrested, and being the suspected girlfriend of Uhuru Kenyatta, she might also “begin to talk” while in custody and probably implicate the President. Waiguru must know everybody who feasted on the Ksh 1.6 billion theft and the PAC is going nowhere because they are venting their anger on a conduit who is well protected by the very state that ought to be fighting corruption..
It is notable that in the NYS scandal, Mutahi Ngunyi, a notorious Jubilee propagandist known for weaving pro-Jubilee fake theories about elections, was mentioned as having been paid Ksh 11 Million “for consultancy”. When the scandal became public, Ngunyi secretly “paid back” cash he had been advanced to try and cleanse his image. The point is that in every corruption scandal that explodes in the media, the big sharks are always lurking in the background. They are the ones to be captured and the likes of Kabura can only be squeazed to name them before being thrown in jail for 21 years (for abetting corruption) as the main culprits are hanged. Then, Kenya will be corruption free.
Unless a revolutionary Movement or Party like KRA seizes power in Kenya, the drama playing itself in this kind of video will continue without prosecutions. Corruption is part of capitalism and to defeat corruption, the system must be overthrown and replaced with a new system of socialism. Replacing the system requires a democratic socialist revolution which will have to be organized. KRA is the revolutionary organization ready to direct the struggle. Kabura seemingly was just a proxy for Waiguru and she did not benefit too much from the loot but apparently she is carrying the whole burden of the loot. Corruption in Kenya is a disease that has no cure, one scandal after another.
