With great sadness and sorrow, and on behalf of the family, Jane Rabala would like to inform friends, well-wishers and sympathizers that Eunice Raila, a Kenya-Stockholmer and a close friend, lost her father in Kenya on Thursday, 9th June 2016.
The tragic news came hot on the heels of two key bereavements within the Eunice family and within a short span of time. Recently, Eunice lost both an Aunt and an Uncle who were subsequently laid to rest.
On behalf of the bereaved family, Jane would like to kindly ask friends who are touched with this great loss to show solidarity with the Eunice family during this difficult and very trying moment.

This is our opportunity to be our sister’s keeper by showing solidarity, not just with our bereaved sister but with the entire family which has just been plunged into deep mourning.
Eunice will travel to Kenya to attend her father’s funeral. Jane has set up a channel where friends, sympathisers, well-wishers and people of good-will can send their financial support in solidarity. Apart from funeral expenses, the late Mzee left behind a huge hospital bill. Your announcement that Mzee Fanuel Raila Kombonya left behind a huge hospital bill is wrong & currently causing embarrassment, agony & discomfort to his family, friends & relatives. The fundraising you are mobilising via your blog is also uncalled for & not part of the funeral arrangements for our dear Dad as he has already been laid to rest peacefully & we would want his soul to be left to rest in peace.
