As the year draws a close, another Kenya-Stockholmer has passed on. Consolata Adhiambo, a Kenyan woman in her early 40s, passed away yesterday after a short illness. According to family sources, the late Consolata suffered a stroke in July this year after which she was constantly in hospital. She was related to Monica of Märsta.

Yesterday morning, Consolata passed away, plunging family members into mourning. Consolata, who lived in Märsta, is married to a Swedish man who is also currently in shock following the sudden death of his dear and beloved wife. Funeral announcements will be announced later.

Consolata’s death comes hot on the heals of the death of Keegan Kagwe who died about two weeks ago as he was undergoing treatment at Huddinge hospital. Just before Keegan left us, the body of Michael Osumba had just been transported to Kenya for burial following the death of Osumba in July. The passing of Osumba was preceded by the passing of Milly who died in hospital after a long illness. It has been a season of deaths in Kenya Stockholm and as Consolata’s family enters into mourning mode, only God knows who is next.

KSB sends deep condolences to the family of the bereaved Consolata following the death of their loved one. Consolata was a humble and cultured woman who loved his friends and never wronged anybody. Her death has devastated those who knew her because it was unexpected. We, at KSB, hope that the family will gather the strength and courage to go through this very difficult and trying moment. May the Almighty God rest Consolata’s sould in eternal peace.
