Makueni Senator, Mutula Kilonzo has died of heart attack.
Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka announces Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo is dead.
Kalonzo made the shocking announcement during a burial in Tseikuru in Mwingi North Constituency on Saturday afternoon.
Police say Mutula was found dead this afternoon in his Maanzoni home in Machakos County.

Mutula Kilonzo was educated at Mbooni Primary School and Machakos High School before joining University of Dar es Salaam in 1969 graduating with a First Class Honors’ Degree in Law — the first in the East African region.
Mutula made his debut in Parliament as a nominated MP for KANU in January, 2003.
In 2007, he was elected MP for Mbooni constituency. He served as Minister for Nairobi Metropolitan Development before being appointed as Minister of Justice and constitutional affairs on 4 May 2009.
He also served as Minister of Education under Kibaki Government.
Until his demise on April 27, 2013, he was the senator for Makueni County.
