Following massive election rigging which brought suspected war criminals to power, Kenyans weighed down with anger and resentment need not cry tears but cry freedom. It is my humble opinion that Raila should not concede defeat without a re-tallying but if the process is repeated satisfactorily and the results still favours Uhuru, Raila should concede so that Kenya can move on. If the court rejects the case, my take is that Kenya will cease being at the crossroads and plunge into a deep abyss.

Raila has shown political maturity this time round and if he’ll contest the presidency in 5 years time then he definitely has my vote. Uhuru got his popularity thanks to the ICC and western powers interfering with Kenyas domestic issues. Like trying to impose raila to the presidency -according to many Kenyans views.
KSB: It’s not political maturity. It’s the benefits of Constitutional reforms he helped bring about. You don’t get it. This is Raila’s last shot at the presidency. You may never vote for him again so I think save your vote. You are right – Uhuruto got a lot of popularity with the icc song, got a lot of votes but the votes were not enough to avoid a run off so he had to be rigged in.
Okoth, hebu check this out. Is it possible to play with the Kenya constitution the Puti way? Like Uhuru goes 5yrs then Ruto the next 5 and then switch back to Uhuru and so on to infinity. Does the law state 2 continous terms or 2 terms no matter what?
