First I would like to say thanks to our father in heaven who is the giver of life and who has blessed us with our daughter Natalie Mumbi.
Secondly, on behalf of my family, I here-by take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all those who, in one way or another, helped to make our daughter´s Cai-wa-Mwana a success. We are thankful to the Committee that helped in planning the occasion and men and women who worked tirelessly to ensure that all went as planned. We thank everybody who assisted in preparing the delicious food which was adequate for all our guests.
We extend special thanks to the co-ordinators of the day who were led by Cathrine Maundu, mama Wairimu, Makan, Carol, bwana Mwaura, among others. We sincerely appreciated the presence of men and women who skipped work to be with us, guests who took a day’s holiday or changed work schemes with their colleagues to be at this very special occasion.
Our hearts were filled with joy to see guests who had travelled from far and wide to celebrate our Natalie. Special thanks to our re-known Kenyan musician, Moses Trubadur for the fantastic entertainment.
Many thanks to Tiffany who accepted to sing a special song for Natalie. I would add that the song has a lot of meaning to me and my family. As everybody who was present will testify, the young Tiffany has a great talent and I have no doubt that she has a brilliant future in the music industry. Lycka till Tiffany. Asanteni sana to all “last men standing” who helped in cleaning the Party venue.
Many special thanks to Okoth Osewe who accepted to be the chief photographer during the occasion and who also chipped in to video film at very short notice after our designated videographer was engaged in an accident. Through Osewe, we now have the event well documented.
Ever since our Natalie saw the blue planet, a lot of good things have happened in the life of our family. Friends have visited us and Mumbi has received a lot of presents. We take this opportunity to thank all those who have taken time to celebrate the arrival of our daughter at different points in time.
Sometimes back, two of my long-standing friends, namely Mama Wambui and Mama Muoni, organised themselves with their friends and paid us a visit which was indeed very successful. We take this opportunity to thank them too for their solidarity and wish them well.
Once again, thank you all, asanteni sana, tack så mycket, ni ngatho muno, takk, merci, kitos, ero kamano and may God bless you all.
