This is a public notice to the Kenya-Stockholmers who owe me money. Pay me by October 31st 2011 otherwise my next notice at KSB will name and shame you. Respect is key in the principle of borrowing and paying back money. In case of any delays, the debtor is obliged to inform the creditor.
The debtors have my contacts including bank account number. They are two men and a woman. The sum involved is not a lot, but still needs to be paid back according to the agreement at the time of borrowing. I have put this notice on KSB because these people have been elusive when I contact them on e-mail or text messages. Just so that they don’t forget:
1. The woman borrowed SEK 1900 during this year’s mid-summer weekend in June with a promise to pay me back the following Monday. SEK 500 was paid back that Sunday and another SEK 500 at the end of July, meaning she still owes me SEK 900.
2. The young man who fraudulently took my SEK 500 and change by selling drinks that we had mutually agreed he would buy for my guests. I had inserted money into his bank account on July 23rd. He is a thankless man.
3. The male friend who borrowed SEK 1000 on August 13th during a private event.
All in all, they should not blame me for going public even if ‘sans’ their names, but will do so after October 31, 2011. If any of them has paid money into my account, then they should notify me.
Jared Odero
Bwana Jared Is it true Luos are the most corrupt people in Kenya?Read here and see how Luos in PM office have squandered millions of shillings meant for KAZI KWA VINJANA?
WE all know how the Kikuyus are very cunning people >they Uplift yopu /praise you and at the end of the day they hang you with the same rope!
Jisomee hapa>http://www.nation.co.ke/News/World+Bank+cancels+funding+for+Kazi+Kwa+Vijana+over+graft+/-/1056/1260040/-/7ypyimz/-/index.html
This is very serious. Why borrow money when u can’ t pay back? Who are these rats living on other people’s jasho? Give me a leak!
Otieno Mack-ndege #1 what has your comment got to do with Jared whose information concerns fellow Kenyans in Stockholm? Please get serious and put such comments elsewhere. It is not Jared’s work to monitor corruption in the PM’s office. Write to CJ Mutunga instead.
Meanwhile wenye madeni acheni kujiaibisha kujificha na pesa za jared. Pay back ama tungoje kusoma majina zenu soon!!
Why do you guys lone money to Kenya parasites and you know very well some are social cases who lives on society handouts .The Swedish Neo-Nazis too are mad with such welfare exploiters who comes here to exploit Wa-Swedes hard won & heavely taxed Samhället! Name these Pwepwes Beparis Squad!
A few months ago, Celestine Gichana got her money paid back pronto after using Facebook and KSB to ashame the woman whom she had loaned it to. Some think this is a joke but when fellow Kenyans borrow money from their friends then disappear, it’s worth for the lender to tell the public. We are waiting for the names of the borrowers.
I agree with Odero. hata kama ni 1 krona pay back instead of hiding yet you have enjoyed the money you borrowed.I guess I know the young man mentioned who conned him money. He is bad newsm, yet Odero helped him a lot.
KSB: Please do not give clues here because the debtors have been given some days to sort things out. Let’s hope they square it.
Odero yaani wakenya have gone this low wanajifisha wakiwa na mandeni.Waripe pesa zako.
I think this is the most immature thing I expected to hear from you. When you lent money, did you announce it on KSB?
Why not face the culprits and deal with them in a more mature way than trying to look for sympathy here. I notice the woman has paid you some of the money which you claim. This young man, was he organizing an event for your visitors or why did you have to deal with a “thankless man” as you put it? Maye its a high time you re-examine your self and start taking your own responsibilities, stop trying to involve others in your problems…you can be sure we all have personal issues to deal with.
Pay ur debts u losers.Kama ni mswidi u pay quickly but have no respect for a fellow kenyan who doesn’t even charge u ränta.
Greg #8: Odero has mentioned that these people have been elusive in paying back, that is why he went public. After all, what have you got to lose in it? Nothing, so let him deal with it his way. Why didn’t I read the word “immature” when Celestine’s claim for her money was posted from Facebook to KSB? The debts are his issue.
Surely Jared has mentioned how these debts were accrued by the concerned parties.By avoiding to honor payments as agreed,he has KSB as an alternative to alert the debtors. It is of no use those adding irrelevant words.we sometimes need such actions to put discipline in others.honour your debts in time. I agree if it was a Swede the debtors would have paid a long time ago.tuwacheni kudharau wenzetu tukishakopa pesa kutoka kwao
Morally and ethically the debtors are wrong.although i might have done it differently, i support Odero for his patience.Surely u don’t do that to someone who has lent you money. And the young man why did he take moneyt afta they hade agreeed he was to buy him drinks.Kweli walalahoi ni wengi kati yetu!
wacheni siasa lipeni pesa za Odero. u good for nothing pippo. y take somebody’s money then disappear without keeping in touch?
Greg, it is Odero who decided to go public and has mentioned why.So why do u think he is immature?
Wakenya amukeni. Why do some of you treat Odero’s KSB intervention harshly yet when Celestine’s message about ´the woman who owed her money was posted, many were positive. How would you feeo if one owed you money for some months yet you were supposed to get it in a matter of days? I support Odero to get his money back. Greg this might be immature to you, but the culprits should respect Odero and pay him back.
Everybody who has ever interacted with Odero, will surely tell you of his genorosity. Please correct me if am wrong? come out. Well the point is about honouring a deal. Was he immature when he lent out the money in good faith? Sometimes it takes one to know one and i hope that this will be a wake-up call to other “friends” who takes advantage of someones kindness and humility. If you have someones money and you for some matter can´t pay him his money, you ought to contact the person and tell him about your situation and you resolve and find a way to come about it. But when you owe someone money and the person expects the money on this date and you dont pay, to make the matter worse you go quiet, no response etc. As a friend, lender you feel bad and dissapointed. Now the person with your money can say ” well its only 1000kr what is his problem, he will get the money”
The issue is about the PRINCIPLE and honouring the gesture that the person lent you money in good faith; you needed money and was given money, now its your turn to give it back. If you have problem with paying back pls dont come with lies and going underground and twisting the stories because it creates an impression that you don´t give a damn. So here we are at KSB. Nobody has been mentioned with name or personal details.
@Greg, you have already indicated that the young man is a culprit, do you understand the meaning of “culprit” 1-0
you talk of responsibility, who is irresponsible here? the guy who cant honour a deal and pay his debts in time or the person who in good faith lends out money..2-0
Well i think its the debtors who should re examine themselves and who are you referring to when you say “involve others in your problems”? be more specific. Who faulted and defaulted Greg? seems you have issues so stop playing the “devils advocate” and tell your friend, brother, sister, mother etc, to do the only honourable thing, PAY. 3-0
i dont want to do a Man City- Man U 6-1 , but i will pass the ball between your legs next time Greg because you seem to be a bad defender and a goal keeper.
Pacta Sunt Servanda.
Greg I know Odero is a responsible man who would not come to KSB with a story without substance. This is his issue and even the dummest would understand that his debtors have not been in touch with him as required. The woman had promised to pay the following Monday, yet this has gone for months. If he mentioned the boy as thankless, then recall that he wrote the same boy conned him out of money he sent him to buy drinks. So now you support immoral acts? Sometimes let us think properly and read to understand before we type replies hapa.
why were u people supporting Celestine Gichana who also aired out the name of the woman who owed her money yet are now playing hypocrites when Odero gives notice to his no-good debtors? At least he did not write their names. In terms of Greg calling him immature, what would he do if somebody took his drinks that he bought then sell them without permission? They were drinks bought by Odero’s money but the careless boy sold them before the guests arrived, for his personal profits. How then is Odero immature? Wakenya let us not use different measures when dealing with same issues of losers who want to ride freely on others back. Many cheered Celestine yet some are now grumbling that Odero should take responsibility. He is responsible that is why he has been patient with his debtors who are not honorable persons.Mid summer was a long time ago and if the woman promised to pay the money immediately, then she is the irresponsible one.
If I was Odero, I would have listed all those names without warning. Wacheni ku misuse the goodwill given by your own friends when you need money then bullshit around.
that must be a really thankless boy to take drinks paid for and sell them. And one Greg claims Odero is here for sympathy? Did he misunderstand the reason why the story is on KSB? Kweli some are hypocrites. I see no reason to support somebody who sells the other person’s property he has been given money to buy. This is unethical and whoever wants to support such is misleading Wakenya. If the boy did that he is worth condemning. He is the immature person and I wish Odero could write his name here so that we keep away from him.
Kwenda huko Greg. Odero is mature enough to be patient with his debtors that is why he has notified them. Secondly, he was not wrong to agree and pay the thankless boy to buy the drinks. That was their own deal. If the boy sold the drinks, then he is the immature person. Odero needs no sympathy and he has not asked for it. He has explained that those who owe him money have not been in touch with him as needed. Kweli if somebody took money in mid summer, then another conned him in July, this is October ending. He has the right to go public because private contact deos not work. The other borrowed money in August and has gone missing in action. Let us see this as a big moral lesson because we might think we have friends yet they are just dragons and vampires who never honour debt agreements.
Greg stop defending an irresponsible boy who sold drinks paid for by Odero. He must be the low life here to do such a thing. The Odero I know would not fake a story at KSB to look for sympathy. He has explained clearly why he wrote it. Wacha ku twist mambo.
Greg you are the immature one because Odero’s message is so clear in all points; no private communication from his debtors; they did not pay within the period agreed; and he is good enough to notify without mentioning their names. I would have put their names all over even on Swedish national TV, then next send them to Kronofogden. Do not support losers who are respectless after borrowing money. As for the thankless boy, he must be really thankless to sell drinks that were paid for by Odero. I see no reason why you Greg, thinks Odero is seeking sympathy. Why? His message is to those who owe him money.
Maloozas lipeni Odero chapaa zake. na huyo kijana wa kuuza drinks, he must be the worst pest in town. How could he do that yet chapaa zilikuwa za Odero?kweli let us be wary of hyenas in sheepskin.
Greg must be an immorality askari who supports suckers who can’t pay back money and decide to go silent when contacted privately.if u borrow money, then your creditor should not look for you. INstead you chase them around to make sure you pay so that next time you can borrow again. As for the thankless “langare” who had to get Odero to pay for drinks which he sold – definitely for profit,am surprised you Greg thinks his action was correct because u claim Odero needs to take responsibilty. Fow what? For paying drinks that were sold by the person he contacted and agreed to buy them for him? No law would listen to such crap. The thankless boy should shape up because there are moral standards required when dealing with people around you. personally i think his action was immoral and unethical. Odero is a mature man who needs no sympathy as you claim Greg eti that’s why he put the storo on KSB. he explained why he did so kwa hivyo don’t mislead us with your sympathy to the good-for-nothing young man.
aaaarrrg!!!jus give us the names!!!a week is too far away,it should hve been 24hrs!!! lol
Greg must be the thankless young man using another name. How can he reward thuggery? The young man was paid by Odero to by drinks but sold them to make a kill at the expence of the invited guests. Greg you must be a real low life and probably a supporter of immorality and all the unethical acts around.
Pacta Sunt Servanda #16: you have made the best analysis I am just speechless. Greg should be ashamed of his useless comment.
I like you guys in Stockholm. You should come and rule here because you don’t entertain rubbish. I watch Ngatia’s videos and I think he can make the best Prezzo in 2012. Someone borrows money, he doesn’t pay and he is exposed publicly wao! Since you are away, I expected you people to sympathize with Nyambu and to try to cover up for her but you people are attacking her even more than the Swedes. Someone beats his wife and he is in trouble. Come on… people batter wives here in Kenya daily and no one cares. I laughed when a guy called for unity among you guys and he was thrashed proper simply because his previous actions did not qualify him to call for unity. Come back home and help us. We are starving to death yet Kenya is not a desert.
Msafiri Kiriabati, you just made my evening. Am laughing so loud my kids wonder what’s wrong. Hapa KSB we monitor stray Kenyans and get them back on track by pointing out their social misdeeds. We are a full voting block and hope that as you suggest, we can make a difference. Haki make more humorous comments because we can learn from each other. I hope our brethren in Kenya can learn from our actions.

KSB: Tonny, write in a language KSB readers can understand. This time you are lucky: OK. Roughly, Tonny is saying that “Mzee, just do it like that because people have become stupid in this home of ours”.
People lke Tonny! its funny they could have a voice…nrk.please make your life straight before you talk about others peoples issues.we love you Tonny try to just adjust.
@ msafiri…..r u sane?SERIOUSLY…..First of all unless you live in the most rural parts of Kenya or you haven’t updated ur harddrive……Ever heard of “Real men don’t hit women…REAL men LOVE women”?Secondly Ngatia can’t be “prezzo”
It is people like you who should be fought or avoided. How can it be okay to shun someone or anyone who calls for unity?…..Meaning you stand for war or what?…When people were borrowing money it was not published now that payment is a problem u think its “wao”!! for them to be put on a blog…and to those(@ mummy wa) who think their responsibility is to put others back on track….who told you that your life’s judge?Respect and love each other and we won’t have these irrelevant issues..We have bigger fishes to fry like our famine stricken brothers and sisters.Blessed love to one and all.
@sugarray who thinks you have answers to world problems, who made you the judge to assume demanding back money at KSB is an irrelavant issue? Why don’t you pay back the money on behalf of the debtors since you want us to think you are Superman who can solve everything through your opinion? Get real! How many of those bigger fish have you fried to make Kenya a better place?
SugarRay, Njoro knows the processes of registering a group if he wants one for unity, so he didn’t have to write that in so many words to cause such a reaction. Also, according to you, non-payment of debts should not be made public? U seem so excited writing at KSB you have not bothered to understand why the story has been written here in the first place.
Where were you when Celestine published the Kenyan woman’s name on Facebook and KSB when she refused to pay back her debt? Hypocrite wewe! And by that I mean don’t treat similar issues differently.
SugarRay, you are the irrelevant one. The matter is between Odero and his debtors and he has explained why he has taken such a step. Is it so difficult to understand the message?

GUYS ANYONE KNOWS CAROLINE ATIENO ODENYO LIVES IN VÄSTER HANINGE,SHE OWES ME MONEY.We human beings who behave like this, shame on us,answer your phones if you can, excuse yourself if you not able, this woman goes to an extent of removing me from Facebook,in the name of money, like I can’t sweat for more money out there,my sweat is mine, give it back!
http://kenyastockholm.com/2011/05/23/vituko-kenya-stockholmer-wanted-for-non-repayment-of-debt/
Funny how people here write without using their real names…..seems they have stuff to hide…When lending someone money the parties involved must come to an understanding before they put the money on the table….Hizi tabia za early man ndio tunajaribu kuwachana nazo………who said that even by shaming them Odera is going to get his money back?…..Odera I know the pain…..self sacrificing for a friend only to gundua si hivo…..if people in Kenya have been shamed in the national papers yet they still didn’t pay what of a blog that is only becoming popular as a platform where people jus exchange insults..
@ Kingi I don’t know anything or rather never heard of a Celestine…..pengine ule nilikuwa na yeye pre-unit and tafadhali I don’t know you n you don’t know me…why should we start by calling one a “hypocrite”.
@ Njoro usichoke kuwaambia….in life it is critics who make you stronger.
Sugarray keep preaching. U seem to have the energy of questioning.
SugarRay is only writing without understanding the real story that states how the money was lent. Even a verbal agreement is a contract in law.
hahaha….this reminds me of the idlers I used to see at KENCOM hoping for a scene so they would get a chance to throw stones. Typical Kenyans, if we are not fighting we are getting drunk. I have been following this blog of late and must confess that I have rarely come across any positive or KUINUANA from Kenyans. My advice to Odero, face the victims, as someone says…UTADOO IF THEY REFUSE TO PAY??? Me being a victim, I give my KUDOS for confident citizens who are ready to stand for their opinions thus publishing their names on the blog……the rest, ARE YOU SURE ITS NOT ONE AND THE SAME PERSON? Watch out gentlemen, so you are not arguing with one and the same idle man spending 18 hours reading the blog.
Welcome with your nuclears but sorry, am not available 18hours for this!!!…TALK TO MY HAND IN THE MEANTIME.
well said akinyi but do those idlers beg at your doorsteps? do you feed any other kenyan beside yourself and probably your family? wacha matusi.
