On Saturday, August 27th, several events happened in Kenya-Stockholm. One of the highlights was a “closed circuit wedding” (attendance by invitation only) which was held at the New Life Church at Fridhemsplan. The fantastic wedding was between Joyce and Robert who later led the invited guests to a reception with sumptuous food accompanied by speeches. The ceremony was conducted by Pastor Kjell Waren who also prayed for the newly weds. After speeches, Shiela Mustaq from Kenya led the couple into the cake-cutting session.
The ceremony ended in song and dance. Among the invited guests were several Kenyans, members of the new Life Church and Swedish and African friends who all had a good time. Speaker after speaker wished the couple well. Speaking to KSB, the couple thanked everybody who attended the wedding and all those who assisted in various ways to make it happen. “We will always remember you and what you did for us”, Joyce told KSB.
