Uganda’s female Artist of the Year 2010, Iryn Namubiru, is set to tour Scandinavia from 5th to 26th March 2011. KSB has learnt that Iryn, who is of the “Byambiligo fame” will be accompanied by dancehall Artist Ceaserman famous for hits like: Mafalanga and, most recently, Taximoney, Angella, Chinaphone, among others. Performing together with Gift of Kaddo, another Ugandan Artist who has taken the country by storm, the tour promises thrilling and rare moments when overseas fans touch base with some of East Africa’s finest entertainers. It will be the second time Iryn will be in Stockholm, having thrilled the crowd a few years back. Iryn has a growing fan base especially in Scandinavia and demand for her music is part of inspiration behind the tour. Now I am waiting for an update on her shows in Copenhagen and Oslo. What happened to Sizza and Gift of Kaddo? Did they fail to make it? Anyway, Iryn must have well-filled their gap.
