Top Kenyan comedians are set to perform in Stockholm city between 2nd and 4th September. Mr. Peter Sangale, who is popularly known as “Olexander” and Mr. Matayo Keya Msagani aka Makoha, are landing in Stockholm tomorrow, Tuesday 31st August to perform at the Stockholm Comedy Festival which runs in September. The Comedians are known for their performance at the Vioja Mahakamani show featured at KSB.
In a short note communicated to KSB, Babben Larsson, a stand-up comedian who linked up the Kenyans, hoped that Kenyans will turn up to watch the comedians perform. The following is the specific schedule of the performances:
Södra Teatern 2nd Sept at 19.00
Norra Brunn 2nd Sept at 21.00
Södra Teatern 3rd Sept at 22.00
Södra Teatern 4th Sept at 18.00
“We hope that as many Kenyans in Stockholm as possible will come and see the two big comedy stars from Kenya. Peter has earlier toured throughout USA together with his good friend “Churchill” but for Max, this is the first performances outside Kenya”, Babben told KSB. Full Festival schedule is available HERE . For tickets, go HERE .
The booking system could be a bit complicated and for some tips, both Peter and Max will work with Babben at Södra Teatern on 2nd September at 19.00 hrs. The two comedians will work with Dustin Chafin from the United States and André Jerman from Norway on the same evening at Norra Brunn at 21.00 hrs.
On 3rd September, the Kenyans will work with Babben and Shazia Mirza from the United Kingdom at 22.00 hrs at Södra teatern. On 4th September, the Kenyans will work with Dustin Chafin, Ismo Leikola from Finland, Ruperto Vanderpo (USA) and Colin Kane (USA) at Södra teatern.
According to ticketing details available to KSB, a ticket of 230-250 Kr is ordinary price for the shows at Södra Teatern. If one buys a special Festival Bracelet, it will knock off 50 kr on the shows you see at Södra Teaterns two stages, Boulevardteatern and Mosebacke. That will be a good affair if you see more than 3 shows as the bracelet is 100Kr.
Norra Brunn charges 120 Kr for bar tickets (standing) and 150 Kr if you book a table and have dinner there. Tickets can be ordered online while you can also call and make an order. Phone 08 531 99 490 and they will answer questions about booking and tickets. If you want tips on the best booking option, go for the full price if you intend to see only one performance but if you intend to see more than two shows, go for a bracelet.
