The Kenya-Stockholm football team will face their Cameroonian counterparts today Saturday June 19th at Mälahhöjdens IP (Tube: Mälahöjden) from 17.00 sharp. Kenyans and fans alike are encouraged to turn up in large numbers to support the team which comprises of Steve Karani, Mutiso Mukundi, Muchemi Ngatia, Charles Ndungu, Isack Rama, Tebby Maundu, Makan Macharia, Anton Abila, Michael Mukundi, Francis Kariuki and Abdul Shabir.
The Kenyans are reported to be in good form and they are expected to give the Cameoonians a very hard time. Two advantages which could propel the Kenyans to victory is their agility and “staying power”. The Kenyans are young and energetic and these qualities are expected to play a big role in their overall performance.
The tournament has been organized by the newly formed Sports Association of Afro-Scandinavians (SAAS), a serious group that will no doubt fill the vacuum in the field of organization of sporting activities especially among Africans. KSB takes this opportunity to wish the Kenyans success in their debut match against the Cameroonians.
