On May 1st, the newly formed Kenya Christian Union (KCU) raised funds to go towards the air ticket of Apostle David Karanja who is scheduled to come to Sweden this summer to preach the Gospel. According to Mr. Kenneth Wamburi Munge, Secretary of KCU who spoke to KSB on telephone, the successful fund raising means that KCU has raised enough money to finance the ticket of Apostle Karanja and his wife to Sweden in June.
Mr. Wamburi thanked everybody who attended the function at the New Life Ministry and who donated generously during the harambee. He hoped that God would bless them abundantly and added that further details about Apostle Karanja’s visit would be released later by KCU.
The trip will be Apostle Karanja’s second visit to Sweden, the first having been last year. During his three days of intensive fellowship with Kenyan Christians in Stockholm, the Apostle blessed several children while other Kenyans became saved after being washed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
The Apostle’s emotional sermons are reported to have moved some Kenyans to tears before they committed their lives to serve Jesus Christ after they repented their sins to pave the way for new lives free from all evil.
