I resigned from the Kenya Armed Forces in 1993 due to a persistent domestic problem but it has turned out to be the worst decision I have ever made in my life. I was working and living in the same military barracks with my wife who was the Brigade commander’s secretary. I had been trained both locally (Kenya Armed Forces Technical College) and overseas (India) as an instrument technician (military option). My star was rising steadily had it not been for the mix up with family affairs. My wife also resigned there after.
Later in 2001, the problems followed us in the civilian life as my wife and our second born baby boy were both diagnosed as HIV +ve during birth, while I was HIV –ve. We separated towards the end of 2002 and she has been living with the kids at my mother in law’s place ever since.
Our other child, a daughter scored B- in last years Form 4 exams while the boy is in lower class standard 3. (He has since turned HIV -ve as the doctors advice against breast feeding). I have been supporting them until last year November when I lost my tuktuk (3 wheeler taxi) to auctioneers due to default in a micro finance loan. My only piece of land had been auctioned earlier in 2001 by a different bank as I had taken a loan to do business and clear my wife’s medical bill at Avenue Nursing Home, West lands.
Currently I’m not even able to feed my own stomach and searching for a job have proved elusive as I turned 50yrs this January and hence, out of the age limit bracket.
I’m appealing to well wishers to come to my aid and help me financially (no matter how little) or otherwise, in order to get me back on track, at least for continuity of my children’s education and support. (Sponsorship for the girl’s further education most welcome). I’m fighting with suicidal tendencies as I ask myself questions without answers, why me, why me, why me God; Is all these what I was created for?
God Bless you mightily as you give my appeal a positive consideration. (Documents available for all issues mentioned above)
Sincerely yours,

Nothing new here, this is the story of about 20 million other Kenyans.
I agree with Kenya damu here, this could be a true story or just another con man trying to con his fellow kenyans. Even if we good at harambees there must be some boundaries. There are lots of kenyans in kenya suffering and in the same situation but they don’t call for harambee at KSB, this man can afford going to cyber cafe to send his pathetic letter wow!!!!!!!!!
