
There will be three shows with three different themes:
9 September at 18.30 – Sweden premiere, with subsequent debate on the theme of “Africa image in the media”. Address: Bio Rio in Hörnstull.
Guests: directors David Herdies, Georg Götmark and Francis “Big Toto” Okello (involved in the film and co-creator), Kitimbwa Sabuni, Cecilia Gardinge (from Sweden) Teddy Afro Goitom from CinemAfrica and Cow Town. After the film and debate there will be a Bar Party with DJ Johanna Beckman spinning.
September 13, 11-14: Sunday breakfast with film screening, discussion and presentation of the Film Front Nairobi. The theme is Slum/Urban Segregation. Guests: Francis “Big Toto” Okello, Hans Rosling (Professor of Global Health and founder of Gapminder), Maria Cottages from the Art Academy and a representative of Amnesty.
September 19: 18.00 – film screening followed by discussion on the theme of HIV/AIDS. Guests: George Oketch (starred in the film from Kibera), Kristina Bolme from MSF, Lennart Hjelm Moor (UK Ambassador for HIV/AIDS issues).
