Moses Njenga, a Kenyan resident in Stockholm and his sister, Rhoda Waithera who resides in Uppsala, have lost their Dad in Kenya. Friends, sympathizers and well wishers will be holding a Prayer Meeting at Njenga’s residence on Sunday, March 1st 2009 at Bäckgårdsvägen 51 (3rd Floor) in Vårbygård from 14.00 hrs. In the meantime, Njenga has an “Open House” at his residence which is the point of mourning. A committee headed by Mr. Daniel Mwaura has been set up to help mr. Njenga and his sister in Sweden cope with the tragedy.
The venue is about 7 minutes walk from the tube station and there will be candles to guide the guests. The Prayer Meeting will take place at a local which will be closed at 21.00 hrs but an “Open house” at Njenga’s will remain open as long as necessary.
A funds drive is part of the Program and there will be both a contribution book and a condolence book. According to Mr. Daniel Mwaura, Committee Chairman who has been briefing KSB, all contributions will be greatly appreciated. Those who may have difficulties in tracing the venue are requested to call contact numbers listed below.
KSB hereby sends deep condolences to the family of Mr. Njenga during this time of deep shock and sorrow. Losing a father is not an easy experience and we hope that the family of Njenga will have the courage and compassion to go through this sad and difficult moment of grief and painful mourning. There is a time for everything. A time to live and a time to die. Njenga’s father has left us. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
