6 thoughts on “Strange Twist In The Rågsved Obama Party

  1. Africa Maison has done right to challenge the use of their name to be linked with an underhanded deal in the name of an African Party.

We should know who these fake party organizers are and why they should use the names of Maison’s officials without authority.

It must be there is a hidden agenda behind constant parties in the name of African Unity. Africans can be united in many other ways, not just by parties every month.

And why not be original other than copying Barack Obama’s slogan of ‘Yes We can’ plus his photo? This is all fake and the faces behind such fraud must be found and shamed.

Maison’s really saved this bogus ‘Network for African Unity’ when it joined them at the successful party. Otherwise left on their own, they use names of DJs and others to make people think that they are popular. They are as fake as the unity they now claim among Africans.

Anybody who uses other people’s name fraudulently cannot unite others.

  2. It is a big shame that some people can take other people’s names and use them to attract others to their party. Why should somebody think so lowly and use clandestine means yet wants to unite Africans?

I know who is behind using Tengo’s and DJ Jimmy’s names. He is a fake man who wants to control others in the name of unity. He doesn’t like to be challenged and only forces his ways on others.

After a failed party, he has now put in names of popular Africans to draw large crowds. He must be condemned.

  3. This is how fraud begins among Africans. Africa Maison have been doing a great job entertaining us and they should not be linked to a group that is a failure and wants to be famous for nothing.

This strange group must apologize for this stupid action of including Tengo and DJ Jimmy’s name on their poster without asking. Surely, is this unity?

Shame on those behind the so-called Network for African Unity. If they could do this, it shows they are behind cheating Africans and are collecting money for other means which they are hiding. If Maison officials did not protest, then their names could continue being used to benefit these greedy people without being paid.

Africa Maison should never team up with these guys who have no clout in Stockholm. Maison people have always been nice to their fans and give quality entertainment. This bogus African unity group should first build trust with people by being transparent and not hiding behind others names.

Shame on the fake Network. It should change its name to: ‘Network for African Thieves’.

  4. Why should some lazy, uncreative people keep extorting money from Africans in Stockholm by using the name of Obama? Obama hit the tracks running with a full work agenda and has no time to sing slogans that are already history.

Can’t the people behind this strange organization called ‘Network for African Unity’ do better things than keep recycling the name of Obama to get our hard-earned money?

African Maison should demand that they remove all the posters hanging anywhere in Stockholm with their names. It is very wrong for some people to go around using others’ names to gain financially without informing them. This is typical of opportunists who think that people are so stupid and can’t see through their bad habits.

Mr. Tengo and DJ Jimmy should take this issue seriously and get the apology they have demanded. Those fake posters should be removed.

  5. 1. The reaction statement from Network for Africans Unity is loud and clear. In the intrest of mantaining a noble cause Mr Otieno should have called a meeting with fellow networkers and ironed out these issues.

    2. Geting inspiration from Obama and gathering people to remind them that the YES WE CAN slogan should not only apply to Obama does not mean extortion of money. Look at the nominal fee these guys ask us to contribute when they make a get together and compare it to that where we usually pay hundreds of kronas for dance. We purposelessly spend thousands of kronas in Vasagatan and many other clubs in Stockholm which none of thsese belongs to an African. That is extortion and we never complain!!!!
    2. Call it extortion or what ever. We should be happier to see money being earned by one of us because for sure some of this money will end up in Africa helping an African or two. THIS IS THE CHANGE WE NEED.
I support what the Network for African Unity has initiated and i will attend every get together organised by them. Meeting all the Africans like i saw in the Sollentuna party gives hope to African people in Sweden. The value of such a meeting point is quite higher than money.

  6. Lumumba U think this is the first time Africans are meeting? Why did they not do this before the name Obama appeared? Many people like those behind the Network lack creativity and only depend on borrowed ideas.

Without Tengo and Jimmy, they are not going to have the crowd you saw before, believe me. This is why they used those names without asking them.

How some people use their money, whether at Vasagatan or on prostitutes is their own choice. Go and join the Network and spend your money. U do not need the Network to bring CHANGE. I still believe they are not an inspiring factor.
