If there is one thing that excited Lady Barbz, it was the thought and imagination of travelling to Sweden to meet and unite with her lover in a fresh romantic connection that promised to add flavor to her life following the death of her dear white hubby back in the white highlands where she was used to high life complete with a state of the art Benz car and other goodies of the millionaire type.
Although she had officially quit opulent life as a matter of principle especially after her life came into danger over property squabbles, the prospect of a new life with a brand new lover whom she had come to admire somehow filled the void that had crept into her life after tragic circumstances.
Barbz checked in at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on February 12th 2008 and as she waited at the departure lounge, her imagination wondered with lots of fantasy. She had never met the Pastor although it was like he was already part of her real life.
She had interacted with him before but only electronically in Cyberland. Now, she was destined to meet him in real life, a moment she had waited and worked for using all resources that were at her disposal. “I loved this guy with all my heart”, Barbz told KSB.
When she speaks, you notice her take a pause in a moment of nostalgia while sometimes, she begins to fight off tears as she expresses the kind of love she had for the Pastor who had melted her heart completely but who has now torn her heart apart. Suddenly, she is now depressed and needs to talk to friends all the time although she doesn’t know the real intentions of others moving very fast close to her.
Although she seem to have some really nice friends, predators and other suckers appear to have surfaced, competing for her attention, presenting their problems to be sorted out as she is pushed into playing the role of Social welfare by people who never used to be close.
Kenyans who know the Pastor and who are members of his Church have been tracked down by KSB. According to information gathered, the Pastor is a “Professional brain washer”, manipulative and cunning although other members of his Church have admitted that they never knew “the other side of the Pastor” until the Barbz story was blown out by KSB.
From tales collected around the Pastor’s Church compound by KSB agents posing as converts to gather intelligence, he passes as a “smooth operator” who has the ability to mesmerize his audience with biblical tales and as he liberally takes over people’s emotions, they open themselves up to be taken advantage of before they are conned in various ways that they never understand until it’s too late.
Arrival in Norway and Check in at Radison Hotel
It is reported that the Pastor draws strong ethos through a well-polished narration of emotional and, sometimes, tragic personal experiences that notoriously leaves his listeners in a powerful and sympathetic posture as he works them up to trigger a wave of “talking in tongues” moments that moves the Church experience to heavenly levels. He is reported to exhibit an unbridled level of piety while his rhetoric is said to be capable of convincing a princess right into the act of what you know in record time!
Barbz is just one single victim who is beginning to understand how her life was taken over by the Pastor within a very short time before she was converted into a slave and later exploited because she had resources that were stuck in Kenya. She is just beginning to experience freedom and as she fights depression, she is determined to see her life go on.
When the Pastor preaches, it is understood that he delivers the message so powerfully that sometimes, members of the congregation begin to shed tears as if Jesus Christ has just landed from space. What else could be more manipulative?
Back in Kenya, it was time for Barbz to board the plane and, like any other passenger, Barbz went through the delicate routines prior to boarding as she mingled with white people who were coming from holiday to take that last stroll into the aircraft with nothing but hand luggage. Eventually, she took her seat ready to await for the next item on the agenda, a flight into the world of wonders in Scandinavia.
When she landed in Norway hours later on February 13th, the Pastor, whom we can call “Pastor Mapozi”, was there to meet Barbz at the airport. It was during cold winter but with the warmth that awaited her in the arms of her new lover, winter could as well pass unnoticed especially during the first few days.
Interestingly, Barbz’s relative who had connected her visa to Norway was not at the airport to meet her because she was busy that day. The newly united lovers checked in at Radison Hotel in Oslo where they stayed until February 17th 2008 before hitting the road to Stockholm city where the real life was set to begin. The Pastor is said to be a good planner if he is looking for something.
Pastor Mapozi had taken all precautions and made sure that he had a car. From the Hotel room, the couple drove all the way to Stockholm, a journey that took slightly over six hours. Soon, they were in the Pastor’s Apartment where a new life had began.
It was first things first. Familiarization with the environment as they began a journey to understand one another. Barbz had to catch up quickly with life in Sweden and it should have been easy because she was living in the midst of a wealthy white family in Kenya. As each and every day passed, the barometer of love also climbed a notch higher. In summary, it was “all systems go”. Eventually, and after all the pain, Barbz had found that perfect partner or what some spinsters could call “Mr. Right”. Then one day, hell broke loose.
Pastor’s Women Abandoned in the United States
Pastor Mapozi lost his job and the sad development slowly began to change the economic situation between the two. Barbz was not pumping in any money because she had no money. In fact, it was the Pastor who paid for her air ticket because she was broke even though she had left a fortune in her name in Kenya. The Pastor became restless, negatively emotional, easily irritated and utterly unpredictable. Barbz began to wonder.
During the good short days that they had been together, Barbz had told the Pastor everything about her personal life and history. The Pastor knew that Barbz had left behind property worth 70 million Kenyan shillings, how she had feared for her life, how her dear husband had died of cancer and how she quit the home of her late white hubby when she believed that her life was in danger.
Armed with this information, starved of cash, desperate and without a job, an idea came to the Pastor. Barbz needed to begin a fight-back to recover her property in Kenya. The Pastor had been in Kenya before to try and set up a Church which didn’t work out because of fraud, conman-ship, greed and internal Church wars with loyal Church members who could not understand certain aspects of the Pastor’s behavior especially on the question of women who were members of the congregation.
According to Munala wa Munala, a Kenyan blogger who knew the Pastor way back in 2002 after meeting him at a Swedish language training school, the Pastor is a man who likes living beyond his means, loves underhand dealings with women and doesn’t take responsibility whatsoever.
In the course of investigations, Munala told KSB that Pastor Mapozi cannot return to the United States although he is a US Passport holder because he has not been paying child support after abandoning two women in the States. Because of his irresponsibility, his US Passport was apparently confiscated by the American Embassy and now, he can only travel to the States with a one way “Travel Certificate” because “he is wanted”.
In the States, the Pastor has two kids with an African American woman while he has another two kids with a Ugandan woman. Both women and the four kids were abandoned by the Pastor after he fled to Sweden to escape from justice. After he landed here, the Pastor hooked up with a Swedish woman whom he resided with for two years before the woman filed for divorce because the Pastor conned her of money estimated at over half a million Crowns.
Barbz Abused, Threatened and Passport Taken Away
During his “playing moments” with the Swedish woman, Pastor Mapozi allegedly approached a bank and pretended to be his wife, filled up a loan application form, forged her signature, submitted it to the bank and got almost half a million Swedish Crowns.
When the bills started rolling in, the woman was shocked because she could not understand why the bank was sending bills for a huge amount of loan she knew nothing about. She contacted police and the Pastor was arrested. KSB is trying to track down the Swedish woman for the “Inside Edition”. The Swedish woman discovered that she had married a thief and filed for divorce. By then, the Pastor was reported to have been in Kenya, running with Kenyan women.
The story is meandering and we will have to get back to the “Kenyan Church front” with Munala wa Munala later. As mentioned earlier, when the Pastor noticed that he was penniless, he systematically began to put pressure on Barbz to begin a struggle to reclaim her property which she left behind in Kenya.
In the process, Pastor Mapozi began to intimidate Barbz that if she couldn’t obey orders and try to get the money, he would talk with the Swedish immigration authorities and get Barbz deported to Kenya. Barbz was scared to death because she believed that if she is deported to Kenya, something bad could happen to her because since the property was still in her name, the white family could not get access to it without trying to harm her. To calm her down, the Pastor told her that he would seek asylum for her in Sweden!
As tension grew in the house with the Pastor getting more and more desperate, Pastor Mapozi began to use desperate means to get Barbz to act. The Pastor seized Barbz’s Kenyan Passport to ensure that she could not run away. In the process, the Pastor began to beat and mistreat her. Barbz was scared because her new lover was mutating into a molester and so she wanted to run away but she was trapped. It was one of the most difficult moments of her life. Frustrated and torn between the prospect of being deported to Kenya and fighting for her life in Sweden, Barbz gave in to the Pastor’s demands.
With his connections in Kenya built during the period he was trying to build a Church, the Pastor began the process of tracing Barbz’s property to be recovered and money sent to Sweden. This whole story reeks of extreme disgust and I can’t imagine this ‘Pastor Devil’ can still stand before church members to preach. Honestly, must one seek spiritual enrichment by listening to the Devil himself?
I feel sorry for Barbz who got entrapped in his sick, egocentric charm and lost such a large sum of money in the name of love. This pastor needs to be taught a lesson once and for all, so that he doesn’t fool around with other innocent and honest people again.

For once Godfrey looks at this story from the angle of the woman. How can she be so naive from Kenya to Europe? Why was she isolated without seeking help even from other Africans especially fellow churchgoers in Stockholm? There are many holes in this story concerning her judgment about potential male lovers.
I am interested in knowing how we know what the “Pastor Devil” was thinking when he met Barbz. Have we interviewed him? If not then why are we making assumptions? Let us get to the root of this matter and let’s do it quickly before he deceives another innocent.
He must be held accountable.
Has the family of Barbz gotten involved? We know that she has ties to the government back home in Kenya. Have they made attempts to support her?

The reason why I have chosen not to attend our churches here in stockholm has now been acknowledged! Some of the pastors are just hypocrites using the church to cover their dirty agendas! Im a christian and believe in prayers but the trend of our churches here in stockholm leaves alot to be desired. I know that not all the pastors are false, but the dirty ones are tarnishing the reputation of the churches so how can the churches convince pessimists like me to ever be part of the congregation? Hi Charles, its good that you think a lot about this. Evidence speaks something with this issue, as i read the inside story, i believe that this man has a place in jail permanently. We cannot tolerate anyone doing this evil works whoever he is.
For you melody, i understand you because, after all this things that happened. I have now fear of believing who speaks the truth in the church? But we should not blame everyone for the mistakes of one.
I wonder why Charles seems to regard this story with doubt given some lines in his comments. If he read and understood everything from the beginning, he would not be asking those tiring and repetitive questions.
Barbz was very open to Osewe by presenting hard evidence also available at the Swedish police to back her story all the way. Osewe has done a remarkable job by giving all the details.
Let us not push the story beyond what is available. Osewe is the messanger in this case and cannot answer some of Charles’ doubts beyond what he has from Barbz. On the other hand, even suspects have their sympathizers and Charles could be feeling sorry for the pastor instead, for whatever reasons.
Pastor Chameleon really hid his beastly character from the church members because he could batter Barbz and still preach smile to them preaching ‘dung’.

You are right Larry, but as far as i know about Barbz, she an innocent girl to be a victim of this evil pastor. That she thought that she obtained help from him and yet it became worst and never expected that she would run for her life. I honor God and the servants of God. When we begin to say things about the anointed man or women I tremble with the fear of the Lord. We should be right and be sure we are right. I think my questions are also in the minds of other readers. We want to know why you have not spoken to the preacher.
Is this going to happen? Are we going to hear his side of the story? You have said things about his life in America, can you prove this as well?
These points are important because you are building a case based on his prior life to confirm his current actions.

I have read your story and first of all I have to agree with most comment it is easy to feel sympaty with the woman.
But I also get a felling that you are mixing a lot of issues:
Love, Money and Religion if we look on each item seperately the problems might be easier to understand.
Love, it seems like she still loved him at least until he choosed not to continue their relation which at least for me must mean that he couldn’t be that bad, (remember no one is perfect or….).
Money, this is a simple issue we have good law enforcement institutions here in Sweden it is just to go to the police with the case and they will solve the problem, (remember in Sweden and most civilized countries everyone is considered to be innocent until proven guilty…..).
Religion, as far as I can read he seems to be a perfect priest that knows how to reach out to people and get their attention.
My conclusion is therefore that if he is not found guilty for beating this woman or stealing her money by the proper Swedish authorities this is just gossip and if you realy believed the story you are writing why don’t you disclose the names of the people involved?

KSB: Ulf: There are no disclosures because of two reasons. The first is Swedish Press laws which protects people’s identities during the legal process. The matter is also under police investigation so there is the “prejudicial element” to be safeguarded. On the love front, the story is still being told and, probably more details will surface. The fact that the matter has not reached the courts does not mean that it cannot be raised at KSB. The bottom line is that the Swedish rules of raising the issue before it reaches the courts are followed and this is what KSB is doing and this is what every Media house in Sweden does.

However, there is a lot for her to learn in the world of men. If I were her, I would rethink before I land the next (possibly useless) man. Such happenings are supposed to awaken us to be better and more reflective in the world of romance.
Right now, many are within the sympathetic mode, but given the chance, they would also throw jabs at Barbz for having stayed too long in a useless relationship for too long.
Where is the “fastness” in her that comes with money? I would expect such “greenness” in a poor person not exposed to a certain level of awareness. But anyway, we have also read or heard of other millionaire women kept as slaves by their brain-washing hubbies, so I will not be judgmental to her. For Barbz, it was so difficult given that her passport was snatched and lived under the constant threat of deportation. Not easy, I understand.

Even men of the rob ERR. So far, this is what we get about the preacher. He definitely knows KSB by now, so he has a right to defend himself. But he knows that the truth from Barbz is water-tight and he won’t come out here because he has a pending court case.
I can’t help you because some of us are more interested in what is already written and can commnent. Since we are only using the version from Barbz, we can only have faith in her to keep producing evidence until justice prevails.
I know Osewe is privy to documents that he can not put here due to the current police investigations. He said he saw copies and original documents that have also been verified by the police. This is evidence I want to see and I am sure if the police had that evidence he would be in jail now. Do we know if this Devil is still walking the streets? KSB is a space to engage issues like all the other conventional media houses in the world do, with or without mentioning names. If this turns out to be gossip as you have rushed to conclude in advance, then it will have to be retracted by the same Barbz.
How come most Swedish mainstream media houses don’t reveal names or images of well-known suspects, yet tabloids like Aftonbladet and Expressen do? Why has the face of the suspected German woman Arboga-children’s murderer never been shown on Swedish TV 1 or 2, yet Swedish TV4 shows and mentions her name openly? You shouldn’t use different yardsticks when assessing similar basics.
KSB has done the best by following basic media requirements so far. Maybe you want him to slip by mentioning the Pastor’s name prematurely, yet this is a potential court case. Well, keep waiting because he won’t be named.
I don’t know why some people are hard on Osewe who just relayed this story. In fact, if you read it from the start (and it’s easy to understand if you can read), then he explained how he met Barbz to narrate it.

As for Ebony, some of us are used to her one-liner swipes. She will learn with time that each new case is unique and not similar to the late Kavinga’s.
Barbz could have been better off remaining in Kenya with 70 million Kenya Shillings. Sweden is a useless place to spend it in. One might fight me till Kingdom come about this, but there is no way a sane person with that kind of money could come to struggle here. All the big shots remain in Kenya and only deposit the extra abroad without being slaves to anybody.
If I had this kind of money I would seek a residential permit in a country that recognizes the power of money instead of going to the Internet to meet a social-misfit like the Pastor, who is already washed out with numerous kids and no money.
I would go to a country that gives citizenship according to money namely, Canada, Australia or somewhere in the UK. There is no way I could come to Sweden to suffer with language issues after acquiring papers.
Better still, why could Barbz not remain in Kenya and silence the whites threatening her by using her powerful Cabinet relative to keep them off?
