Pastor Neatrice Kamau has praised the move by Mrs Charity Ngilu’s defection to ODM. Speaking to KSB, the Pastor said that Kenya needs women like Ngilu who was courageous enough to tell President Kibaki in the face that his government had failed the people of Kenya after elections.
“Ngilu has been bold enough to tell Kebaki to stop defending thieves in the government”, the Pastor told KSB.
The Pastor said that by joining ODM, Ngilu had made the right move because the government of Kibaki was a “sinking ship”.
“Kenyans have been struggling against former President Daniel arap Moi for many years and the fact that Kibaki is now defending Moi means that the Kibaki government is committed to defending the interests of the rich in Kenya”, she said.
She said that Ngilu was courageous because she dumped the Kibaki government despite the risk of being sacked from her Cabinet position.
“The likes of Moi should not be left to discuss and talk politics in public because he failed Kenya during his 24 years in power”, Pastor Beatrice told KSB.
She said that instead of allowing Moi to try and confuse Kenyans with “divide and rule politics” meant to defend the interest of a few rich people who have plundered the Kenyan Nation, Moi should be taken into custody to answer questions behind bars.
