A Kenyan national has been arrested after allegedly raping a Swedish woman in Stockholm. Details are still scanty. But according to a source, the Kenyan was taken in police custody after allegedly raping a 47 year old woman.
The issue is so serious that the news was reported in Swedish national television although the identity of the Kenyan was concealed as per Swedish press laws. At the time of the incident, the Kenyan was legally married to a white Swedish citizen.
It is still not clear whether the Kenyan allegedly raped his wife or whether he raped another woman. The Swedish woman the Kenyan is married to is also advanced in years and Kenyan observers speculated that the case could be connected to a “wife rape”. KSB has been unable to reach the Kenyan’s Swedish wife for comment and efforts are still being made to get in touch with her.
The case comes barely a week after it was reported that another Kenyan is in police custody after allegedly raping a white Swedish girl he had been residing with since October last year. The Kenyan was also suspected to have assaulted the woman after taking away his freedom.
