ODM-Scandinavia is planning a public meeting on October 14th to discuss a document that has been under circulation in Stockholm. The document is expected to be adopted at the meeting after which Interim officials are expected to be elected. The venue for the meeting has not yet been announced.
According to Mr. Martin Ngatia, one of the initiative takers, the meeting to discuss the document will be open to Kenyans and friends who believe that ODM is the most progressive force that can help change Kenya.
A group of Kenyans in Norway have taken contact with those behind ODM-Scandinavia to begin discussions on how to move forward with the branch in Norway. Mr. Peter Ranginya, a Kenyan based in Norway has taken responsibility to mobilize Kenyans in Norway to link up with the ODM supporters in Sweden.
Mr. Ranginya said that the idea has been well received in Norway and that plans are underway to organize a meeting in Oslo to discuss the matter.
