Leave the Late Rebecca to Rest in Peace
When KSB published information about the late Rebecca Mwakisopile, the purpose was to inform friends, sympathizers and well-wishers about a Prayer meeting scheduled for Saturday July 30th 2011. Unfortunately, disturbing developments have been noted by KSB’s Editorial Board prompting this intervention.
Some commentators have taken advantage of the comments section to write very unacceptable comments which are fundamentally unsubstantiated and in total disregard to the tragic and difficult time Rebecca’s family is undergoing at this point in time.
After studying these comments, KSB has not only decided to pull them down but also to close the comments section of the post to end the agony the family may be undergoing as a result of anonymous postings of unsubstantiated claims that have no direct bearing on the Prayer meeting advertised.
The Rebecca post was not any type of post at KSB. It was an announcement and after a careful study of the content of the comments, the conclusion of KSB’s Editorial Board is that these comments are irrelevant and unacceptable from the point of view of the message in the article.
It must be appreciated that the late Rebecca is not anonymous in the announcement as opposed to the commentators who may me harboring ulterior motives. Under the circumstances, we empathize with the family and concur that the offending comments ought to go down. This will allow the family and friends alike to mourn in peace. This is the minimum we can do to help at the moment.
We wish to note that legally, there is no law being broken through the publication of the comments. As a matter of policy, we rarely pull down comments at KSB without a court injunction. However, on this post, and after a careful consideration of the weighty issues involved, it is the position of KSB that the post should be comment-free. We hope that concerned readers will agree with us on this one issue.
Rebecca is not here to defend herself against anything. Her passing was a tragic event that shocked all those who knew and loved her and what her soul deserves now is to be allowed to Rest In Peace.

DJ Otieno-V Lands Ahead of Nyama Choma After Party: Sato 30th July

Otieno-V: Moments after landing at Arlanda International Airport loaded with his stuff: Preparing for After-Party action
DJ Otieno-V moments after landing in Stockholm from the United States. The popular DJ has been in Stockholm on two separate occasions to rock his fans during special gigs. The fact that Sound of Blackness has brought the DJ back from across the Atlantic due to great public demand illustrates the extent to which the Disco group values their supporters. With DJ Otieno-V inn a de-house, Nyama Choma after Party promises to be really hot making it an event worth looking forward to this week-end.
Don’t wait only to read stuff at KSB or listen to them storos long after the action is long gone and overtaken by another event. By the way, KSB’s “Momentpix Crew” will be there to record the action, not just for KSB propaganda but also for posterity because after all, we are in the age of “Information Technology” aka IT and Nyama Choma news must get online for the whole world to know that manyake zilisosiwa at Fittja Beach in Stockholm city.
KSB takes this opportunity to welcome Otieno-V to Stockholm while congratulating Sound of Blackness for sustaining Nyama Choma for many years and following up with multiple gigs including promotion of numerous Artists which the group has so far exposed to thousands of “Fun lovers” constantly rotating around Africa-Stockholm’s “Axis of Entertainment” engineered by the ever innovative crew of Sound of Blackness headed by VJs: EZ Frank and Safi. If you missed last year’s Nyama Choma, this year you have been warned.

New Dancehall Download from Zion Heights
True to character, Volume three of the Zion Heights Dance Hall is out and this time it’s even available for download – thanks to DJ Waddada who is putting a lot of hours to work out the collection of popular beats that have set the whole town talking. DJ Waddada is a typical example of a DJ who started from humble beginnings but whose novel idea of setting up a unique web site as a way of feeding his fans is increasingly gaining popularity.
When a DJ is not at work, working fun lovers on the dance floor, what should he/she be doing? DJ Waddada is providing the answers. Now that the vibrations can be downloaded, a new chapter has been opened because it is now possible to carry the whole collection in an MP3 player and get your feed anywhere.
The DJ should now do the same for the increasingly popular “East African vibes” and make the next volume downloadable. As it is happening with Dancehall at Zion Heights so should it happen with the East African vibes.
We hope that the DJ will continue to throw surprises as he seeks to change the way things are done. You can call it the new generation of African DJs exploiting technology to the maximum to do their thing differently.
Within the East African DJ circles, DJ Waddada is surely a pioneer and we hope to see more of his work as the summer sun continues to rise and fall. Sam Pippo have claimed that the sun doesn’t actually move and that it is the earth which rotates on its axis but for now, we want to stick to music and send greetings to DJ Waddada.
Kudos for good work and we hope that your fun base will continue to grow as the vibes continue to spread and as the message continues to flow in an ever flowing culture of music brought live at Zion Heights, a point of meeting of hearts and souls keen on following their instincts.
