After a very successful opening of “Yardie Vybz” mad session attended by over 140 Boogie lovers last Saturday, the “Ritz Night Club” is proud to present “Part Two” of the developing boogie extravaganza in Stockholm. Once again, Dancehall and Reggae will be applicable in da situation in response to great public demand. If you were inna de house last week, you must know what it’s all about without further explanations.
If you missed the action for some queer reason which you don’t have to explain to nobaddy, we are sorry and we apologize well in advance because there is no known short-cut that could help sort out the crisis in a way that will be acceptable to you as a Party lover. You just have to organize your evening through astute planning and roll your beef along this Saturday evening to personally spy on the situation with your own naked eyes and get what is known as “direct personal experience”. The only promise we can make at this juncture is that you won’t be disappointed.
This week, we will be visiting (once again) the crazy world of Selecta Keon aka Concrete Steppaz whose spinning skills are unmatchable in the whole of Stockholm’s Boogie branches and whose main area of specialty is in making loyal followers run crazy on the dance floor. Fortunately, you won’t have to be taken to the mental asylum or at Karolinska’s Emergency department for psychiatrists on stand-by to check out your head to establish if you are really crazy.
If you are scared, there will be no ambulance to be called well past mid-night to wheel your overworked beef into the emergency wing of any hospital because Concrete Steppaz makes you crazy in a different kinda style. He keeps your nerves active and makes your whole system excited while the craze I am talking about is all about “real-time pleasure” experienced on the dance floor through vibrations booming from huge speakers.
Local people call it music aka disco. Some experts now believe that this is a kind of “Movement of Boogie People (MBP)”. Research at Stockholm University is still continuing to establish exactly what normally happens under “Boogie circumstances” to try and come up with a kind of “hypothesis” that could help explain the “phenomena” because, according to one researcher who talked to KSB, the “theoretical basis” of the process in question is still not properly understood. For now, it would be better for us to do our thing at the “Ritz Night Club” and leave research and understandings to them academics pre-occupied with reading the last books in the relevant field of study so I rest my case right there.
Back at M5, what is known is that “Yardie Vybz Muzik” is all about top artists such as: Busy Signal, Vybz Kartel, Beenieman, Kevin Lyttle, Mavdo, Elephant Man, Alaine, Ce’cile, Sean Paul, Serani, Lady Saw, Mr. Vegas, Gyptian, TOK, Voicemail, Jah Cure and many more. Anything that makes you feel good and dance the night away will be on the menu cozz dat’s de idea after all.
You don’t leave your apartment to get bored in the middle of town and in the middle of the night (sometimes in the middle of nowhere) so if you are one of those “Fellow Party Travellers” with the familiar “Where do I go tonight” kinda thoughts, you need to clasp your hands on your chest, look up in the skies above and scream “Hallelujah” because the “Ritz Night Club” has been born to save you from your Party tribulations.
It is more like a prophecy fulfilled because converts who have been lucky enough to trace the Club and attend one of the “Prayer meetings” now have a Eureka kinda a feeling. If you are not into Physics and you can’t figure out what “Eureka” means, relax and get some “second hand” physics lessons from I-man.
When that guy aka scientist called Archemedes discovered his so called principle, he was reported by observers to have shouted something like “Eureka… Eureka”. In simpler terms (and before you begin to google “Eureka”) the word means something like “I have found it… I have found it… yeah, it’s nice, it feels cool, wao!” If Archemedes was from Kenya (like Barack Obama, the Prezzo of the United States of America), he could have shouted “Wazi… Nimeiwayi…Kabisa Kabisa”. We leave it there for now because the point has been made.
The Ritz Society Night Club is located at the ground floor of Malmtorgsgatan 5 (M5) with large windows that gives you a fantastic panoramic view as the night melts away right under your very feet! High ceilings ensures dat you don’t crush your head up-steazz, just in case you make that extraordinary high jump to catch a beat when a crazy number pops up so you will be extremely safe.
At just 500 Meters from T-Centralen, the location of Ritz Night Club is super coz after every hour is danced away and the sun begins to behave like it wants to shine again, you can just stroll home in your own way. The big catch you need to write in your diary is that it’s free entrance before 23:00 hrs. After that, it will be 100kr at the door so it’s just about keeping time and you will be in for free to have good time as the month of October opens up.
Besides, your entertainment needs will be on the hands of astute professionals well versed in the art of Entertainment deep into the night and who understand what is to be done when it starts getting really hot inside. Needless to say, there is top security at Ritz Night Club so don’t try anything silly.
Get involved and dig out more about “Ritz Night Club”, a brand new joint in the center of Stockholm City that is not yet well understood by “Party addicts” but which has suddenly become the big talk in town. Meet new people wishing to meet new people and socialize in style because after all, life is short! Welcome!
It is with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of our beloved mother Mrs Mary Aloo Mulama Kamande in Växjö, Sweden. She was the wife of
Peter Kamande Manyeki (UK). Mother to Edith &Victor (Kenya), Linda, (UK)
Tom & Sylvia (Sweden) and the late Sally.
She died on 4th of September at Växjö Hospital here in Sweden, during emergency treatment.
A harambee was held in London to raise funds for travelling and the hospital bill. We however are appealing for more funds from Kenyans in Sweden to cover the deficit. We therefore humbly appeal for your contributions, so that we can be able to take mom back home for burial. The Funeral Directors have reserved travel for 5th October, next week.
Thank you for your prayers. Tom and I look forward to hearing from you.
