Correction: Okulo Masala’s Brother in Law Passes On After Short Illness
This is to inform Kenyans and friends alike that Mildred, the wife of Okulo Masala, a Kenyan resident in Stockholm, lost his brother in Kenya yesterday morning following a short illness thereby plunging the family into deep mourning. According to Mr. Okulo, the brother in Law, will be buried on Saturday, 1st March 2014 and he will travel to Kenya to attend the funeral.
Speaking to KSB, Mr. Okulo said that he needs at least Ksh 300.000 to sort out all expenses including burial. Consequently, the family appeals to friends, sympathizers and well-wishers to show solidarity with the family by making any contribution to help off-set the huge bill that the family has to deal with. The contributions can be made through SEB account number 523600044117.
KSB sends deep condolences to the entire family of Mr. Okulo during this time of great shock and sorrow. The tragedy of death knows no boundaries and this time it has struck the humble Okulo family. We hope that the family will find strength and courage to go through this very difficult and trying moment.
Mr. Okulo is a progressive Kenyan in Stockholm who has been of tremendous help to many Kenyans especially during times of bereavement. Just as many Kenyans will testify, Mr. Okulo has been offering a venue located near his residence for free to Kenyans and friends during harambees although this time round, it is the family that has been struck by the cruel hands of death which has suddenly taken away a loved one.
Those who wish to send messages of condolences can reach the bereaved family through 0764453852. Any further information will be transmitted as it becomes available.

NB: In the first Report, we erroneously reported that it is Okulo’s wife in Kenya who had passed away. Mr. Okulo has since corrected the error and stated that it is his brother in Law. We regret any inconveniences to the Okulo family which may have been caused by the inadvertent error.
