Michelle Jeng, the Tanzanian model and the 2010 “Miss Africa Crown Winner”, has launched a Foundation called “Michelle Jeng Foundation”. The main objective of the Foundation is to provide educational support to young girls in Tanzania. Through the Foundation, Michelle agenda is to provide hope to young girls and help educate them as a way of contributing to their human development.

The Guest of Honour at the launch was Dr. Mwele Ntuli Malecela, Chief research Scientist, acting Director General and Director of research Coordination and Promotion of the National Institute for Medical Research in the republic of Tanzania. After winning the 2010 Miss Africa crown, Michelle has made good strides in her modelling career. She has worked in various commercial shoot-outs in both the United States and China, performed at Runway shows including during the Bangalore Fashion Week and the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Johanesberg. Michelle is systematically cultivating a unique image in the modelling and Fashion industries. With her charisma, energy and intelligence, sky is the limit for the 2010 Miss Africa Crown winner.
