Kenyans will hold the next General Election on March 4, 2012. Since the post-election violence in 2007-2008, the process of healing the country has been ongoing, to reconcile Kenyans for the sake of peace. Many local and international stakeholders have been involved to deal with individual and collective trauma among the survivors and their families. It is within this backdrop that Brother Samuel Muirani, a Kenyan resident in Stockholm-Sweden, has offered to share his vision for peace, which is a calling from the Almighty God. He is willing to deliver the message and he is generous as to let us be part of the great mission.
We therefore invite you to a prayer meeting for peace, on January 26, 2013 at the Rehobot Pentecostal Church in Stockholm, from 14:00 to 21:00. The address is: Störtloppsvägen 12, Västertorp, within the centrum. During the event, Brother Muirani will share with you his vision for peace and good neighbourliness in Kenya, which is necessary during this period of political campaigns. Because none of us would want a replay of 07/08, let us come together and show our commitment to peaceful elections. We will pray for our country and at the same time raise funds to send our representative. The bigger the number of attendants, the lighter the burden. So, let us spread the word and invite our friends to this event so that all of us can be part and blessing of this great mission.
With the grace of God, Brother Samuel plans to travel to Kenya on January 28, 2013 to hold peace rallies at selected venues in all the 47 counties. With the Lord’s mercy, he also plans to meet the two leading Principals, President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga and possibly invite them to at least one of his scheduled rallies. Could 07/08 repeat itself this time round, the people who would suffer are our loved ones: parents, siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews & nieces, friends and eventually we ourselves.

• Welcome prayers (songs from the church choir).
• Video film show: “Heal the Nation” for 30 minutes. Children below 13 years old will not be allowed to watch the video. The purpose of the video is to show the past and make us confront the bitter reality faced by the PEV victims and their families. The healing process will continue after the 2013 elections since Kenyans need peace and harmony.
• A few questions will be allowed from the audience. The purpose is to focus on reconciliation without opening old wounds.

Pastor Muirani good luck they might listen to a preacher from Uraya (Europe ) hence Religion also came from Europe .For God’s sake someone come to the rescue of Kiambu children. For the sake of tribalists may say that I am talking of Kiambu men not Kikuyus. They rape their own daughters and sodomize their sons as a way of life. And now the battering! Kenyans should not stay cool if elections are going to be rigged by kibaki uhuruto axis of evil. The Uk envoy has spoken his govt position on Voting Uhuruto hence Pev vic tims must receive Justice and Kenya Govt Must cooperate with the ICC Court in Hague, Uhuruto assets must be freezed and the Govt of Kenya through Kenyas Attorney General Githu Muigai (Uhuru relative) has refused( or) to cooperate in freezing Uhuruto assets . Kenyans should wait and pray for the real peace otherwise this time Kenya will go Somali-Way.
l felt furious and agigated when l read an artcle published in Ksb on a Kenyan resident in Stockholm-Sweden, who has offered to share his vision for peace. Moreover, he is pleading and begging for Kenyans in Stockholm to finance his trip Kenya to preach peace.
First and the foremost, l want to outline and highlight some few points which leaves a lot questions to be answered. Firstly, Pastor Mwirani, has delineated and stated clearly that, he is leaving to Kenya to preach peace, when Pastor Mwirani himself can`t preach peace where he resides here in Stockholm.
In numeral occasions,l have seen many Kenyans in Stockholm bereaved. Not a single day nor any time l have seen Pastor Mwirani motivating and consoling them. And here he is going to preach peace in Kenya. Honestly! what kind of peace? If l may ask?
The Fact that Pastor Mwirani resides in Stockholm, does not him any privileges and access to meet the President and the Prime Minister. There are powerful and highly educated eminent people in Kenya with distinct ideologies. For your information Pastor Mwirani! Folk in Kenya does not need peace. They want a system of government which works. For instance, Federal system of government which will embrace all marginalized ethnic groups to participate in the government and by so doing, peace will be established.
There is nowhere in the world where peace is escalated and elevated when the magnitude of people are wallowing in poverty. Homeless children and raping women is the order of the day.
I,m undermining Pastor Mwirani or has anything personal, l felt it is very essential to express my view and what l see. And the truth shall set us free.
