This was a mirage and there was no deal. Kenyatta made it clear it was subject to consultation and Mudavadi was a witness. Blame Mudavadi’s lawyers for sleeping on the job.The whole thing was a scheme to tether Mudavadi.Kenyatta has invested Colossal amount of money in TNA/jubilee and why would he want to give it out like a birth day gift. To my suprise Mudavadi has not even realized TNA has taken stand and still talking about negotiation. Mudavadis supporters saw it coming and why would a principal leader repeatedly fail to see objects hanging in clear sky.Laws have closed door on him and he must accept TNA’s terms within his chain

It is clear that in Kenya, politics is about individuals and their cronies. Nothing here is about Kenyans, Uhuru might be right about the image of the country to international community and has made a right choice to step down. It is worth noting that we are not living in a differenct planet and international community is critical to Kenya especially on trade. Those coercing Uhuru should open their eyes to this fact. On another note, Mudavadi may note be the leader Kenya want due to his shaky nature and inconsistency in leadership. I think CORD should start planning the next government.

Very interesting. Yet some call Raila Kigeugeu! They just took the name away from him. Yet some said Raila was bad and that’s why the pentagon members left-Now we know for nearly all of them excluding Nyaga are in the saga! My big confusion is that all these guys want to be on the Presidential race and they could constitutionally do it so why dont they just go ahead and run? Why blame the other yet you are not blocked from running as head of your party? Are they scared? So you see Raila has been right -Two horse race -Who would bell the cat (reference to the G7 that is now proven to never have been!)

How I love the squabbles and the drama currently going on the this ‘Jubilation’ camp. This must be the best Christmas gift Kenyans have ever had in such a long time. It is quite clear whom we should trust between the two coalitions. If they can not keep promises made to themselves as politicians , how hard will it be for them to rescind on promises made to Kenyans?. After all, all you ever need is to just blame the devil that led you into signing and making the promises in the first place..

One can sense a lack of leadership, trust and way forward. The whole electioneering excercise is intended to give politicians a chance to debate policies and strategies aimed at realising national development. This is an opportunity for parties to market their ideas and win arguments over their opponents, not wrangles from within. An ordinary citizen is not worried much about who becomes the next president but which party offers the best value for the vote. I don’t think that what is witnesed in the papers is value for the vote. When are we to expect the national arguments that matter to take presidence over individuals ambition to be the one? I long to read about the economic strategy of party x but guese what i end up reading…more wrangles and twists of political personalities. what’s the argument on education, health and clean water among others for the next y years? Come on politicians, present substance.

If this is how Mudavadi wants to capture the presidency then he has no support. He is taking advantage of Uhuru through blackmail. For the first time anyone can sympathize with Uhuru. Mudavadi is indeed a vulture. He, Mudavadi, no doubt was waiting to blackmail RAO and take over ODM the same way he is now trying to take over Jubiliee. Mudavadi should tell the nation if he is a politician or a mercenary. What is it that Mudavadi wants in the presidency if he is such a political vulture and an opportunist, out to exploit the country when he has no support. This man can be given money by anyone, even Kenya’s enemies to take over the country and welcome vultures like him to come and plunder the country. He does not have the country or the people at heart, I am sorry to note.

Dear MM: Do you think that if necessary, then Uhuru must be compelled by law(?) NOT to compete with you freely and fairly for the nomination of the flag-bearer?
What have you got against elections in general or the election of a flag-bearer in particular? If the alliance members determine that the flag-bearer is to be elected by delegates, would you opt out of the contest rather than be humiliated in a public loss?

For days after Dec 4, 2012 MM lived in the clouds imagining himself re-modeling State House in March 2013. How he would tesa Tinga! What a ride! MM previously insisted that he had an agreement with Uhuru in 2002 which bound mt kenya people to vote for him. Now it is a “legal” document! Big deal. Legal marriages are dissolved. Our ancestors and those in sovereign states like Iraq and Vietnam are invaded, occupied, raped and slaughtered. Kibaki didn’t honour his ‘legal’ MoUs in 2003. MM’s claim to carry the Luhya vote is a mirage. Despite clan-loyalty, most Kenyans would not vote for MM just because they have been told to do so. Villagers dropped a non-performing Mudavadi in 2002 and they aim to do so again – for good. Uhuru can move his base support elsewhere. MM insisted on ‘internal democracy’ in ODM. Now, he hates it in Jubilee Alliance. Kigeugeu MM wants to be ‘legal’. In fact, MM is in parliament illegally – since he is not a member of the party which sponsored him there. Moreover, like you and I when we are insubordinate to our immediate boss, MM shouldn’t be a Deputy to PM.

Every country has some forces whose desire is to control the outcome of presidential elections, parliament bills and inquiries. Some Western Nations are controlled by lobbyist, others unions but in Kenya what hon Uhuru is calling forces are individuals. Let us say the wealthy class of people who have some interests that they need protected. Well it is good that every day that passes Kenyans are learning to be honest, independent and open minded. For Hon. Mudavadi gone are the days someone works whole night and in the morning they hand you a plate of ugali. You have to plan and work. What happened to the saying that said East West home is best? You did not burn bridges that bad not to go home. For Hon. Uhuru, he has build his career and he deserves to go all the way to the ballot. He calculates his move. To the electorate we owe it to ourselves to vote. It is sad that the Election board arm twisted us in the elections but our voice will be heard regardless. Kenya needs to elect leaders who have integrity, vision, and open minded. We should shun tribalism and vote in leaders..

Haiya! If kenyans had any doubt that Musalia was a Project – then the truth has come out in broad day light. The way musalia left ODM, walked into a party founded for him and then into TNA was suspect. Also why he wanted consensus instead of the very nomination he had demanded in ODM smelt a rat! Now we also know that Uhuru is Still a Project. There are dark forces behind him giving him marching orders. Is it that these dark forces have a dosier on him that they threatened to hand to the ICC? And if so, wont he be subject to the same blackmail even as president? And has anyone thought about who these dark forces are? On a different note – it looks like Moi is the ultimate professor of politics after all – why? – look, Kenyans have forgotten that his Project is now hot property – namely Uhuru and Mudavadi? And Ruto ?? So, the Project Moves On – too bad Kenyans never see that far behind or far ahead. And why is nobody paying attention to Peter Kenneth??

Hahahahaha…. Can a true leader be forced to do things he does not like? Come on Mr. Kenyatta. Stop gerrymandering and tell us the truth. You plaid the carrot and stick game on Mudavadi and here he is, baffled by the turn of events. This is the hallmark of impunity, incompetence, carelessness and utter greed and i hope that you guys shall not hitherto get any positions of governance.

i wonder why IEBC insists we should vote when we got a bunch of hoodlooms running. the media hypes them to the chagrin of sensible kenyans. sensible candidates are kiyiapi, peter kenneth and maybe martha. you know it by conscience but you cannot hesitate to be drawn along the bandwagon of the two horses. i dont trust the substance of jubilee and i had long parted ways with rao. so, it means i have to vote for an individual the media likens to a joker?

This couldn’t be far from a great political satire! This has been a well calculated move from Uhuru & Rutoh to nominate a candidate who will protect their personal, legal, political & economic interest! I saw this coming. They are all self centered. Voters be wise.

This Katikati theatrics cannot work. Mudavidi tried to spoil ODM now he wants to break TNA!? Mudavadi is a lazy politician fronting himself as a humble leader.

I really love this drama. Uhuru must honour the agreement. This is surely the beginning of the end for Jubilee. If Uhuru wins, MM and his supporters will not support him.

I am not à jubilee supporter but think mm position is redundant , retrogressive and archaïsch. To advance democratie space, ledership comes from The People and hence delegaties is The way to go. If hè believen hè can win à national election, Why is hè scared of competation? Power cannot be handed to you, but on second thought Thats how hè got into politics in The first place. Time to show what you are made of.

Please Kenyans be serious and you need serious leaders and not jokers. Do these people in TNA know what to do what is democracy and how a presidential candidate is chosen?. I seriously doubt it.
