A 24 year old Kenyan girl who broke my spectacles will pay compensation for the cost of new spectacles and an additional 5.000kr (Ksh 50.000) compensation for subjecting me to psychological torture by making me to return home from a party without my spectacles. The compensation also includes subjecting my two children to the same psychological treatment by exposing them to a scene in which their daddy’s eye glasses were broken for reasons they did not understand.
Further, the compensation includes my premature departure from the party in order to keep the peace and avoid an ugly scene at a Party where I was the chief photographer. At last, justice has been done and I am satisfied with the outcome. The crime was committed on 8th June this year at a student’s party in Stockholm. For details about the crime, see here.
