Following a letter to KSB by Stella Mwangi, the daughter of the late Jeff Mwangi, a plea for funds circulated by the “Jeff Mwangi Funeral Committee” in Kenya and which was published at KSB, has been pulled down. According to Stella, the family is not in need of any fund raising in relation to her father’s funeral. The plea originated from a credible source that could be reached while details of a bank account at Equity where willing contributors were directed to deposit cash was also provided. KSB published the plea in good faith and regrets any inconveniences that may have been caused to the Jeff Mwangi family as a result of the publication of the plea.
